Hey guys, whats the best practice to get them to sign a contract and secure them for a few months minimum, etc for this? Should I just create a service agreement template for monthly services, and request a signature? Or whats the preferred and most streamlined way
Hey Alan, we usually send them one about the maintenance plan at our shop. We have a few different maintenance plans and they are all virtually the same although we typically bill them annually or we setup a recurring invoice with auto-charge card enabled. We send them one doc to sign that acknowledges the payment terms as well as things about cancelling and rescheduling, limitations on service, waiver for lost items etc. For a maintenance contract one contract will be sufficient for sure. Another on renewal next year etc. if policies change

Can this be done by booked online appointments? I see the VIN details on the vehicle details, but wondering if the mobile service appointments booked online are automatically reported?
The CARFAX record is automatically reported once the appointment is marked complete and the attached invoice is paid in full since these are the requirements from CARFAX to tie the appointment to a fully paid invoice

Interesting that you mention Burger King, they do not care about their stores as a whole, they are failing nationwide as a chain. They have a nice product, but they are failing because they do not care about service or customers.

Yea definitely although this is best with the Dialpad integration as they show up in the feed too. Click the picture icon next to the message box and it will send. Twilio images won't display in the feed but they will send. It's a limitation from how they handle their image storage unfortunately.

Divi AI smashes bro! We have redone about 70% of our website with the AI builder. Chose great fonts, page flows amazing. Had a couple heros i had to plug in, but saved so much time doing it with AI

I don't think any "casual" detailer will spend the 1k+ for just an ads manager.
Casual guys no for sure, but Google reps are surprisingly good at their recommendations and it's free included with Google Ads. We setup monthly calls with them to go over things it's pretty helpful we have found and also lots of studying on ads
It's not expensive for those sponsorships either. Few hundred bucks.

Amen to that! EVERY job in the world is ultimately a sales job. A nurse, a teacher, a husband - you are ALWAYS selling or being sold. Should be a skill taught in schools. Without sales skills you will always just be a consumer.

I wanted to hear both takes first - I'm definitely team transparency for clients and employees. Could go way down the rabbit hole - but ultimately it builds trust all around. There is no business on the face of the earth that couldn't display close to; if not exact pricing - otherwise your system isn't simple enough. I will ALWAYS choose the company showing prices over that annoying sales call for a quote. It definitely has nothing to do with instant gratification hah
Agreed 100% at the very least a range or something and a big part of having your employees aware is so that they can tell potential customers too and also help take some of the load off of you by creating invoices and collecting payment etc. At our shop we have two receptionists now but I remember when we only had one and if she was sick or on vacation, it was super helpful to have everything keep running smooth because our whole team knows how to use OrbisX and do invoicing etc.

Your wording was actually perfect because I knew what you meant because I know you but other detailers focus too much on just price without realizing there is soo much more to it for a customer making a decision. How many times do we buy things we "can't afford" or "shouldn't buy" based on price. I think that girl activist called Greta Thunberg, but not sure. Also that movie is called Downsizing. I’m a big gaming and vr nerd, ther have been some ‘simulation’ such as power wash simulator, but its more of a fun game then anything. However there is a game called Wrench which is a vr mechanic simulator with reviews from mechanics saying how realistic it is. A realistic detailing vr game would be amazing. Sone amazing tips, we do get really quiet around December and January time, and I should be planning these marketing tips for these months, I’ve got a few ideas now, I will have to get these started with the help of orbis

Thanks for your comments and not to worry it's much simpler than it seems to get a great understanding of the app. Book a free one-on-one Zoom with our product tour team here: orbisx.com/zoom and we'll go over things live with you to answer questions and show you the ins and outs. The inventory would be primarily updated by admin/managers and then the AI can handle the rest for usage on events with the ability for staff to modify each event if needed in case of extra/less usage. For example at our shop we do tinting. We enter our tint rolls and the amount per job is calculated automatically when we mark the event complete but in cases where we may have had to cut an extra window or fix something etc. our staff can update the event usage on that single event to be more accurate with what happened in realtime.
This seems very robust and very useful. Im struggling however to see the AI part. It seems like a very fine tuned and we'll engineered machine but how is it learning and what self learning does it actually have? Very curious !!
There is a lot of AI in the app that learns about your business to make better decisions, recommendations and offer insights and reports automatically based on your business, usage and details. The AI extends to other sections of the app as well including following up automatically on past clients to book repeat appointments based on future slow periods or availability the AI determines in your calendar.
