[ITG doubles] So Good (D10), In and Out of Love (D12)
it just feels so good when I don't break combo at 40% :D
this ITG cab's hardware is still very work-in-progress - the pad lights are mapped incorrectly, the panels are mismatched - but it's good enough to play on. I'm prioritizing two other machines (not pictured here) first, then I"ll get back to this one

whoops, I got too busy for five months fixing dance games to _play_ dance games. I've hopped on for 2-3 songs here and there, but last night was my first proper session since th-cam.com/video/mEX_JDHzsl0/w-d-xo.html my overall fitness is pretty good(!), though I'm deconditioned for dance game-specific cardio. the pressure's really on now if I want to pass my first D16 before I turn 40 😰 doubles...

tbh I don't know much about pokemon - I didn't know I was dressed as umbreon until another climber complemented it - but now that I know, I think umbreon does look pretty cool! :)

Really cool idea. Communities that have locations like this trend to not appreciate them to the fullest till they are gone. I hope you find a solution to keep it open. If not, make sure the hardware ends up with someone that actively hosts events / gatherings / tournaments so the public still has a schedule to appreciate it.

Hell yeah man, this is great stuff. I love that you're putting a time cap on this and being forward about it 18 months in advanced. I feel like ITG leadership isn't great at passing the torch (outside of the penn state and illini crews), and this is a great precedence to set.
Words are not enough to convey how much you have had a positive impact locally, regionally or even well outside of PA. It's clear how youcput yoUr heart and soul into everything and I hope that when early 2026 comes around, if/when another person or team steps to the plate, they give this space the love and the welcoming aura you instilled into it. Thank you. I'll be in town for Dahn Dahn Right in about 6 weeks, and it would be really cool to pay a visit here 💛
thanks for the kind words! a few people have reached out about coming to _the space_ during Dahn Dahn Right 2024 - for now, my plan is to *not* host any meetups that weekend. I think there's the potential for many new people visiting all at once, and I wouldn't be able to moderate that (i.e. meet each person, introduce myself, take time learn about them, etc.) sufficiently. hopefully this makes sense!

Is this similar for pump pads?
Yes! Pump pads (both old-style with corner brackets and new-style bracket-less with screws that go directly through the arrow panels) have functionally-identical parts inside, so the same problems can occur.

I am a fan and owner of pump and ddr, what you do is incredible but the task of finding someone who has the same hobby and the economic status to be able to afford everything you indicate, is a very difficult task. I hope you can find it. GREETINGS FROM PERU here we also continue to support the dance machine community in other ways but we do it.
