I'll keep it in mind. I guess there are some great mods which could change the gameplay loop.

There is a lot of DLC units in this game. There are also a lot of mods you can use too. I suspect that is the reason.

@@theclassiestgamer8566 using logic i came to the conclusion that what i have is the base game with only necrons, space marines, astra militarum and orks, and also, just a few choices for gameplay. I never saw the option of moding or multiplayer. I´ll check later. Ty

that's good to know. I always thought it was because they were so psychotic from the chems. Didn't realize the chems were continuously given and they had such low survival.

its ok. 1500 pts tends to be weaker force bc you don't quite have enough to balance everything out. The biggest thing is to build to counter what faction you are playing against.

I'm confused by your question. Are you playing as the orks or against them? What faction do you want a tip on vs the orks?

@@theclassiestgamer8566 I play the Tyranids in the 'conquest' mode, the one where you capture tiles. But I am not sure how to play them right because I have to balance upgrading units, then adding them to my army (thats 2 actions) then AI captures tiles, and Orks usually make me lose many units, so I have to spend action points again and end up with less army value than the AI. Some of the enemy units seem much stronger than some tyranid units, but I might just be a noob. In Lore, the genestealers can solo Terminators, but in the game my genestealers just get mowed down without effort, and can't even oneshot one enemy squad. I'm watching your videos on each of the tyranid units right now, so that may help.

@@AzzySunfire There are 2 ways to play the tyranids effectively. You can play a swarm tactic build which is all low tier units torm and horms buffed by synapses. You mix in a few genestealers for the armored units. You focus on stacking units next to each other for the swarm tactics and then leader buffs. This allows you to gain lots of momentum and damage. Alternatively, you can play with more elite forces. using thornbacks, the acid sprayers, the burrowing units. The new flamer units would be very strong against orcs as well. It is important to have the weapon upgrades for the warriors to make sure to get their natural killer extra AP when they kill a model. I hope that helps.

I did not. I did not know about warhammer 40k until around 2006 so I don't know what edition that would have been. thanks for sharing.

Yes people are still playing. I think there are issues with games cross platforms from what I have been told. I think since they released the new custom map editor and have new DLCs it has increased the interest again.

indeed. I suspect they are going to add the main factions that they have in their other games as they use similar models. would expect eldar and possibly dark eldar and ad mec. Fingers crossed

I'm not sure. I think if it was voice acted, I would be more interested. I promised some people I would go back and replay Armageddon so that will be the next series.

I would not purchase the Castellion DLC (unless dirt cheap) as it only gives you an immortal unit. the other ones are great though
