For anybody that uses the imperial system for weights, 2•2 pounds eguals 1 kilo, so when He said that the extra gear that he has to carry on his person weighs 12 kilos, that's 26•4 pounds, 12 × 2•2 = 26•4, or if You like, that's 1stone, 12 pounds, 6•4 ounces of gear that they carry on them all the time & then if they are a Motorcycle Cop they would also have the extra weight of their Helmets & built in communication headsets & intergrated video cameras as well, imagine carrying all that extra weight during a foot chase, as a Motorcyclist Myself I know that a good Helmet can weigh anywhere from a 1 & a half kilo open faced helmet to around about 4 or 5 kilos for a full faced or modular helmet, so yes they can get quite heavy after a while, especially if You've been riding for a few hours, that's a lot of strain on Your head & neck, I was a Motorcycle Postie for just over 46 years of My working life so I know all about that extra top heavy weight & the extra strain that it causes on the head & neck especially when each Postie run takes between 4 & 5 hours, non stop, 5 dsys a week in all sorts of weather plus the amount of time I ride My own Bike as well. 🇦🇺🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿👌👏👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇦🇺
