I want to put thing in context regarding east asians. My brother and I are twin born in Taiwan and grew up in Rhode Island. He went to play tourist in CCP China one year and a old lady start to point her finger at my brother and say 'YOU ARE SO FAT, DO YOU KNOW YOU'RE FAT. I CAN'T BELIVE HOW FAT YOU ARE" in mandarin. In context, a nation like CCP China or East Asia don't speak about mental illness or mental disability. I recognized it as on the spectrum aspergers with some kind of emotional or mental developmentally delay. You see many child like personalty on the street from old people undiagnosedl. Living in NYC I see this many time. Various kind of mental illness. The rest of the world is no different. This is one of the reason I don't romanticized about traveling. The percentage of people who are very desperate, criminals and mentally ill people you will encounter will rise the longer you travel.
