how important is th epoxy? is it a must have?

You forgot one little detail. The can has some lubricant in it and the can MUST be UPSIDE down to use it correctly. But you are spot on in the rest.

Oh, man, you like to live dangerously, don't you? Disconnecting the wires and reconnecting them with the refrigerator plugged in! Maybe YOU weren't in too much danger, but that can be bad for the electronics.

does your envoy still work? mone not working for last 3 years but now the solar panels not producing much energy at all. Enphase rep in UK says get new Envoy and pay £350 . they say that might fix problem. how could Reporting what is produced make a difference in what is produced?

Instead of taking mine apart I laid it on it's back with the top lid over the sink. I ran water through the holes flipping the lid up and down so the water would get into that arm. I flipped the whole coffee maker over and let the water drain out through the holes. I also whacked the top of the lid to loosen up the grounds more. After doing this several times, my coffee maker is as good as new.

Great work, I have one. I’m changing out the entire motor/gearbox. $297 at acme tools. How do you get the pin out to separate the gearbox from the mixing tub?

So grateful to find this video! The problem was exactly what was wrong with our coffee maker, and the video made it straightforward to fix it. It is really useful to have a couple of small screwdrivers for this job. The clogged piece would only open half way for me and I didn't want to force it and risk breaking the little latches, so held it open with a small, thin screwdriver (sufficient space for the grounds) and just rinsed it out in the sink. You know it's clear when water flows freely out of the drip spout end and the feed end.

Thank you so much for the video. I tried this for the SS-20 model and had to do a couple more steps afterwards to get it working again. Don't snap everything back right away to try your test run. It turns out the clear pipe was also clogged. We use a hanger to clear the L joint and clear pipe that long piece was connected to. Then we ran the brew several times with just the long piece in placed without the square cover until the from the brew is almost clear. The hanger losen the clog inside the pipe and the multiple brew run flashed out the residual coffee ground in other areas. Be careful the water gets very hot so don't open the lid during the brew test run. Put everything back together after the water comes out clean in the coffee pot.

my husband has the same one that was his dads ( who has passed away, and i’m assuming it is sentimental to my husband) I broke it while moving it to another location in the yard and wanting to cover the motor. needless to say it broke to pieces just like yours in your video. I covered it and started trying to glue the pieces together and there’s so many pieces that it just won’t work. My husband does not know what happened and this weekend he wants to use the cement mixer to add more cement blocks to our wall to raise it up for privacy. I was looking all over the Internet for this electrical box assembly & screw with gasket witches part number 3233039. I cannot find it and thank God for this video because if I did find it, it would take a few days to get it this way I can run to Home Depot before it closes and quickly make it myself… thank you so much. I am so nervous, but I have to do it.. you should see how ridiculous I look with the gorilla glue superglue and my paint tape.

Just ordered one. I just got a "new to me" Haier HBF05EBSS and previous owner stated it just stopped cooling. I plugged it in and turned temperature control on and heard the relay click and then nothing, no sound. Going to try this relay. I was getting 120V before and after the relay but as soon as I turned the temperature control on, the Voltage drops to 0 (zero) passed the relay. Fingers crossed!

Okay, so one guy here talks about the 2 hoses that were clogged at the bottom of the coffee maker! HOW DO YOU CLEAN THOSE HOSES OUT? PLEASE HELP!!

Having a half decent OBD2 PDA really helps. Saved and made me loads of money.

There is sod all about these on the internet, I deep dived a bit to help us all out. 0:56 the pinout left to right at this angle is. 1 Motor Neg (not ground) Think H bridged controlled 2 Motor Pos (not ground) Think H bridged controlled 3 Signal out (1 or 2 doesn't matter I think) Fly by wire wants a redundancy same colour wires on my car 4 Ground Common For hall sensors 5 Signal out (1 or 2 doesn't matter I think) Fly by wire wants a redundancy same colour wires on my car 6 5 Volt Common for Hall sensors. Important. test with 5 volts or lower or blow hall sensors. If your fault code says spring not returning or mismatch in signals from s1 or s2 or grounded or shorted. It is probaly a bad plug full of oil and dirt. But to test the throttle posistion sensors, there are two hall sensors that have to send the sameish voltage back to the ecu just incase one blows up and tells the engine to go full on. You need 5V supply. Connect ground - to pin 4. Connect 5 V to pin 6. Use a meter in volts range. Black Probe on pin 4 gnd. and positive probe on 3 and then 5 whilst moving the buterfly. it should change voltage on each pin from roughly 0v to 5v. The values are rough. if you get 1v to 4v thats fine. Thats why the ECU has to lurn the values. But if both signals are doing roughly the same. the throttle body is good. Ohh. Appart from the motor. just tap 12v across pin one and two to check it moves full open. And manualy move the butterfly for crunching noises. Also contact clean the crap out the plug. Better yet de pin it. These get full of oil. Gimme a shout if I forgot anything. Thanks for the upload I fixed it!

Hey Thanks for the video. I rebuilt mine after seeing your tear down. I done a bit more delving with a multimeter/ occiliscope and power suply. Do you mind if I use some of your video to make a diag video. I missed a lot of video doing it as I need it done. There's nothing on the internet about rebuilding these units or the wiring and testing of them. But I think I have it down now. Thanks for the vid.

That whole showerhead thing that's affixed to the lid seems quite redundant since it comes out of a smaller spout behind it lol. Coffee makers are somethin else man, I tell ya.

I want to know how to fix the other parts... specificly the left thin, where the green and black and white cables are
