Shadow moments that make me think he's autistic (SA2)
I am fully aware that I'm very much over-analyzing Shadow but I thought it would be fun anyway, and maybe even spread the theory of Shadow being autistic. I actually feel like that's part of why people tend to mischaracterize him so much.
I collected a whole lot of scene clips of Shadow and took notes on my analysis of them but it took me enough hours to put together just the scenes from Sonic Adventure 2 that I decided if I want to make more of this I have plenty (as in, over an hour of scenes just of Shadow) more clips I can put together at a later time when I want to edit something fun and am not bored of it at that point in time

Some of those moments I’m unsure of whether they can be counted, (hard ware limitations were existent) however I do find that I do do a lot of this (as an autistic person). As much as him being autistic probably isn’t canon, I do see it. Definitely got the vibes.
Yeah, some of it was definitely me just being extra in my fixation to picking apart everything about him. I thought I'd keep it in anyway, since I thought it was fun to point out all the little details, regardless if they were actually intentional or bordering on uncontrollable or not. I hope you enjoyed the video despite those spots!

I would like to believe and see it in canon that Leo stepped up to be Casey's Sensei or pseudo dad because Raph was his original father figure who happily took care of a baby in the raging apocalypse. Whether Cassandra found him on the street or gave birth to him, I believe that she handed Casey over to Raph the most originally because he was the most "baby person" in the family. And after he died, Leo wasn't able to leave Casey all on his own without his mom and dad, and stepped up in his brother's place to raise him because he wasn't able to betray Raph's memory and wish to have Casey grow up as well and suppported as he could be under the dark circumstances. And, you know, he also wanted to make sure that Casey will definitely survive the apocalypse under his guide. I know it's dark and dramatic and all, but imagine if this was in canon. And Casey doesn't even remember his original "dada" until he suddenly has a dream about him in the middle of the night or something. 🥲 Yeah, that could happen and it would pull on my heartstrings right away. 😭🤧😅 I just can't really picture any other serious connection between Leo and Casey, if I look at how they were never the closest characters to each other in any other version. It would make sense for Rise Raph to start out as his dad in the apocalypse, considering how Raph is always the closest friends and teammates with Casey out of all his brothers in almost every TMNT version. 😁

The thing is, he’s not a prince either. He’s an emperor. He’s pretending to be Kronk’s wife so Kronk can get a thumbs up from his dad. It’s a joke because he makes a great woman in this scene. He’s secure enough in his masculinity to not be afraid to come across effeminately, so it’s showing appreciation for how much he ✨slays✨ whether he’s male or female or a princess or not

I learned by listening to the original and playing along until I could replicate it, otherwise known as playing by ear. It's a very handy skill to develop!

Mulan dressed as a man to save her father. Kuzco dressed as a woman to save his homie. They are like sister and brother from opposite sides of the world, and I would love to see a comic of Mulan and Shang guarding Kuzco while he's on a diplomatic visit to China. Think about it: They expect a serious mission of guarding a visiting emperor from a distant land across the sea, only to wind up practically babysitting a chaotic gremlin of a man who's probably just in his early twenties by then. Shang would be the straight-laced character who keeps him out of trouble, while Mulan would be good-humoredly trying to redirect his energy like she does with kids.
I hope you're happy, you just got me invested in a movie that will probably never exist😭
