@@dardarstanksgd4534 yes, but you need to ensure the tube is not loose in the muffler. You do not cut in the middle but only 250mm from the end. Same shape to ease installation. May be you need to bend it a bit in the thin section so it is still seized in its final position.

@@kawemila2686 ich habe gesehen Leute verkaufen so 2 Stücke einmal von linke Seite rein und einmal von rechte Seite rein , sind aber bisschen flexibel die Rohre , geht damit oder doch nicht ? Mit freundlichen Grüßen
@@valentin.dbaron4246das bringt beim 3.6 und turbo nichts, weil man damit die Absorbtionskammer nicht überbrückt. Beim 4.5 kann man jede Seite einzeln überbrücken, da muss aber links die Drainage raus
Habe einfach aus Plastik was zusammen geschnitten in der Form was eh in den Müll müsste 😂

Schwierig. Wo man rankommt, zusammen drücken zum Entriegeln. Ansonsten zerstören und evtl. neu, hält aber auch ohne.

Kann ich leider nicht sagen. Hersteller pleite.
Habe die Kamera auseinandergenommen und das Innenleben mit isopropanol gereinigt, danach lief wieder alles. Aber nicht den Teil mit der Kamera drauf in isopropanol eintauchen nur die erste Platine und bei der mit der Kamera eben nur die Rückseite mit einer Bürste und isopropanol. Habe danach noch das oxidierte Gehäuse gereinigt und mit Schutzlack angestrichen. Damit das Gehäuse nicht nochmal oxidiert. Jetzt läuft alles wieder wie am Anfang und ich brauchte keine neue Kamera kaufen😃
Gut, wenn es funktioniert. Hoffentlich dicht. Klappt leider nicht immer.
Die Kamera kostet 30€... Hyundai hat ein Vorschlag zur Reperatur von 1000€! Abgegeben

Was müsste man machen - wenn man bspw. nur etwas mehr Sound bekommen will (ca die Hälfte „mehr“ von dem vorgeführten Sound? bspw das Rohr nur etwas drehen … Danke & lg
Drehen bringt nichts. Man kann aber ggf. nur eine (die rechte) Seite mit einem 'halben' Bypass-Rohr überbrücken. Muss aus Edelstahl sein und darf nicht klappern. Mit beidseitigen Bypass ist man aber, was das Standgeräusch betrifft, im Bereich der Zulassung: 84dB(A) beim Cayenne S 4,5l. Mit eingebautem Bypass wurden 82dB(A) Standgeräusch gemessen (nicht kalibriert). Und innen ist es auch nicht störend. Grüße

No, I'm sorry, it does not work on the 3.2 V6. The silencer has a complete different internal design.

I think you mean the drain tube. This is to get rid of water condensate. It works on pressure difference, it can be removed what will reduce drain effectiveness. If this drain tube is on both sides, the silencer is most likely divided in two separate chambers what is not the case on Cayenne S 4,5L 340HP.

No, unfortunately not.

Yes, same diameter, but the tubes that come out of the silencer (where the end pipes are attached to) are bent a bit, so you will not be able to insert a straight tube, sorry.

@@AndyWalkerOfficial you can't insert a straight tube due to bent end pieces, and I don't know about the internal design if it is possible to get it through
Hi, is this going to work on a 2004 Touareg 4.2 V8? I reckon it shares the same muffler with the Cayenne? Thanks.
Still not sure, there have been several request and orders on Touareg 4.2. However I still cannot tell what configuration allows installation of the bypass. It seems to depend on wether there is a mid silencer installed or not. If there is no mid silencer (abroad Germany, maybe only US) it looks like it will fit as on Cayenne S. Prior to an order please check with a 180mm broomstick or similar if it can be inserted into silencer the whole length and there is no drain tube (may be removed on one side).

@@kawemila2686confirmed - it does NOT work on a Touareg with a mid silencer (maybe it does on ones that don't have it). Pipe fits a bit tight but with some lube and hammering it goes in, had to remove the metal thing sticking out at the entrance though. Why it doesn't work - I can't tell, pipe hole is right against the incoming exhaust pipes but there's no sound difference. I suspect they might be entering into a wider chamber so exhaust gas flows around the bypass pipe and into the back of the muffler. Only way to be sure is to cut out the muffler and see, which I'm not doing. I did remove the mid silencer though and the sound is pleasant. Some may consider it quieter than what they're looking for though.

Schloss und/oder Verriegelung kaputt, friert manchmal ein, worst case, mal von außen versuchen manuell aufzuschließen, sonst fällt mir nichts ein

Is the performance still full? The air should be more compressed
Performance remains the same, in the OEM configuration the absorber chambers cause flow resistance what is eliminated if bypassed. This effect at least compensates the slightly reduced tube diameter.
