Idiots
Wow! You saved the day with your very informative video. Truly appreciate the effort. Would be very interested to know which model you rented and if there were any items that you had to (or just wanted to) purchase for the camper to make it more comfortable or useful. For instance bath towels, paper cups, floor rugs etc.
Glad you enjoyed the video :) We hired the California beach van! We added the camping toilet to our hire for our 3 year old in emergencies and that came in handy a lot. We found it cheaper to just buy pillows and blankets for the month than to hire it from the company. Everything else that was needed was supplied, it really is very well thought out accommodation :)
How old are your toddlers? Want to take my 3 year old but worried he might be to young.
Hi there, she was 3 when we did this trip and she did great! She had to be carried though, I don’t believe she would have done so well trying to walk herself
Wow! Awesome video, your little girl Remi is so cute 😍
Aww thank you 🥰♥️
I fully understand getting use to filming, my husband and | started a channel Gap_ adventures as we were living in Canada driving truck. We are now back in UK after 20 years living there and we are going to do 3 mths starting January. Will Pompeli be open in the winter months. doing a great job
wow the cathedral looks amazing, we are going to start traveling in January so hopefully the crowds wont be to bad. your little girl did amazing with all the steps
The cathedral was absolutely beautiful. We hope you have a fantastic time when you visit!
Any other apps like park4night? Thanks!
Hey there your family is so cute 🥰
Aww thank you 🥰🥰🥰
Yeeea the boyyys! 🙌🏼 congratulations 🥳
Wooo the boys! 🎉🎉🎉 thanks girl xx
Congratulations!!! Such a gorgeous family ❣
❤❤❤
What was the dodgy company you were gonna book with? In a similar situation with looking at Indiecampers but lots of dodgy reviews online for them and I was thinking roadsurfer but also has some negative review what do you think? thanks
Thanks for your comment! Yea without slamming indie campers, they were the original company we were looking at but the reviews across multiple platforms were horrific. I’m sure there would be people that have had a fine experience with them but we just didn’t want to risk it! We personally really loved road surfers, we picked our van up in Milan. The staff were really cool and helpful, van itself was great. A friend of mine recently hired a van from them too and they looked like they had a great time with no issues as well. So I would say road surfers is a good shout :)
Very nice, but please be aware that when you avoid a toll road, you may end up on a very stressful trip. I have some experience in France.
Thanks for your comment :) the non toll roads we took through Italy were very easy! But that’s a good point for other travellers to be mindful of
The music is too loud and thereby distracting. Thanks for tips though!
Thanks for your comment, will be more mindful in future videos :)

Listen, I got my Māori R rolls down pact, but for whatever reason if I try put it in any other context I flap 😂
Yes, just in time for my visit on the 12th!!! Thank you so much for this video! Keep up the great work!
Eee how exciting!! I hope you and your wee one have such a great time! P.s oh my word if you like sweet treats go try a place called Qucharitas for dessert and order literally anything on the menu 😂it’s just a few minutes from the plaza de armas. Enjoy! Xx
We live in Cortona about half the year. The time you were there (February/March) is the absolute quietest time. Most businesses and restaurants and bars are closed or are readying themselves for the season, which begins in early April and runs through November. Things pick back up again in December and after the new year, but what you experienced is pretty much the norm for the “off” season. Bad news: nothing was open. Good news: you had Cortona nearly all to yourselves. And… your little cutaway was correct - there is no fountain in the Piazza Signorelli - that was created only for the “Under the Tuscan Sun” movie. If you liked the movie, you would really like the book of the same name, which is also a lot more accurate in every way.
Thank you for your comment, that is great to know! I will definitely have to give the book a read 🥰
I love the little fashionista, sooo cute 💓💓💓
Did you use mostly cash or card?
Hey! Great question, mostly by card, everywhere in Cusco seemed to have eftpos available, we did however always have a small amount of cash on us, about 100 Sol as there were circumstances outside of Cusco like heading out to Machu Picchu or rainbow mountain etc where vendors may only take cash :)
Oh also important to note, to use a public bathroom, even in bus terminals etc, you do have to have coins with you, we noticed they were usually around 1 sol
This was so helpful!! Thank you.
No worries! 🥰
You can use both modes to pay. Many people of Peru use cards, cash and electronic wallets too
Have any of you guys seen Under the Tuscan Sun or read the book??
We are heading there in mid April with a 9 month old any tips?
Hey! Oh awesome you will absolutely love it. Only tips would be to try and book accommodation close to the plaza de armas as it’s mostly flat around there, anywhere outside of that you are walking decently up hill to get to your accommodation and the altitude is rough! We stayed at the most incredible accommodation, Casa Agustina - the family that runs it is beautiful, breakfast included and very affordable so I’d highly recommend if you haven’t picked somewhere already. Also, pick up some coca gummies, we found that they were more effective than the coca leave teas for altitude, takes a few days to adjust. We hope you have a awesome time!
Also, your 9 month old should be perfectly fine with the altitude, our toddler didn’t even notice it as she was carried most places :)
What would you say for clothing? It’s my first baby and trip with her! When did you guys go?
Aw how good! We were there in Feb for 3 weeks and the weather was consistently in the 20s (Celsius) however it does rain a lot! The coldest we had in that 3 weeks was about 18 degrees Celsius, hottest around 27 so for clothing I would suggest lighter layers but perhaps have a light blanket on hand for if it rains a little
Also, Peruvians adore babies, they will want to stop and look and make a fuss :)
An old wise Whyte 🇺🇸👹guy told me, once : go back to your country.. Your not a Nomad. Youre an illegal alien. Go back to your country.

I love Remi's expressions trying Boba for the first time 🥰🥰🥰 another great video, thanks for sharing❤

Hey! Oh that’s awesome you guys will love it :) Here’s the carrier we have nz.philandteds.com/products/parade-baby-carrier
In there ugz
I am visiting this September ❤
We hope you have a great time!
Enjoy, you'll maybe catch rainy days, so be prepared here it rains hard and traffic is messy, I wish you all the best and have a great time, very welcome
Thanks for sharing. As a parent I’m interested to know which CDMX experiences you felt were the most enjoyable with a little one in tow?
Thanks for your comment :) great question, I wondered the same before we travelled over. We found that she enjoyed most of what we did, however when on some tours if she got bored we would have to tag team and distract her to not disturb the rest of the group. We found particularly in Roma Norte some incredible playgrounds, so we would take her before or after to run her energy out :) One thing we did find through out all of the areas we travelled in Mexico, the locals were super friendly towards our toddler and would often express that by touching her hair or her hands etc (which we don’t mind) but we noticed she didn’t much like it so we would do our best to navigate those situations for her. Other than that she had a blast!
@@Thebabynomadnz omg thanks for taking the time out to reply. I’ll definitely remember that tip about letting my little people get some energy out before tours. I’ll be mindful about the touching as well. I’m still 50:50 on touring the castle.
Mexico City looks amazing!
