    Impedance sometimes show very different results without anything in the belly. Sometimes it shows me 7-8% fat and then 12% fat in exactly the same conditions. The one digit number is wrong for sure.

    I wish I had seen this video before. This is exactly what happened to me today. An irresponsible guy left his 145 lbs each side and since I never dealt with that much weight, I didn’t even know this could’ve happened. I mean of course I theoretically know from the physics class but I didn’t experience it in real life. Thanks God everyone is safe. Two guys were using the rack next to me and the barbell tipped over between us with 145 lbs. 😭 I was in shock for hours, just started to feeling like myself and I immediately searched the safety rules of loading and unloading. Thanks a lot, you cannot image how I appreciate this video after what happened today.

      I did my inbody on a 14 hour fast no water no food or anything and it said I gained zero muscle and gained 4.5% body fat even tho I literally don’t see a single bit of fat gain and only pure muscle gain and huge strength increases, is there a reason for this? Can it be because of the fast?

      @@titoghoneim2591 dehydration makes your body less conductive because of the lack of water so the electric current takes longer to travel, which leads to higher body fat, which is why I don't trust inbody

    The false dichotomy between stand up striking vs BJJ ground fighting is really really annoying and getting old. The BJJ crowd (yes yes I know it’s not just them but they’re the loudest) tend to completely ignore the concept of STAND UP grappling and sweeps/takedowns/throws. Don’t get me wrong, ground fighting is definitely a good skill to have but a good martial artist needs to have 3 major skill sets: striking, stand up grappling, AND ground fighting. I’d also say that striking and standing grappling are the MOST important with ground fighting being for emergencies and needing to be avoided unless absolutely necessary in a “real” fight

    I'm a senior, and while many of my friends are letting their hair go gray naturally, I continue to color mine to disguise my age, and to help prevent being targeted as potentially weak. From behind, at least, I appear much younger. I also have a small limp that I go to great lengths to disguise, for the same reasons.

      It's becoming fashionable to let hair go grey. Embrace the grey, women are told, but I will continue to dye my hair, and have even had some cosmetic surgery done on my eyelids to look younger. I want to look younger not just for vanity, but so as not to look as vulnerable to street criminals.

    They say water an hour before test in the morning is okay. You’re just flat out recommending nothing before the exam? Can’t wait to see the difference. My BF stayed the same last month from February and I think that’s why. I woke up that morning drank 16oz of water and unfortunately had some adult drink the night before which I’m sure affected things as well. Not this time tho! Gonna be completely empty.

      Water an hour or more before the scan should be fine. By then it's had time to empty out of your stomach and move into your muscles and organs. Good luck with your next one and hope you see some progress!

    I wore groin cups a few times when I started and it made certain movements painful. I ended up ditching it and haven't worn one since. My 7 year old started doing it too and I'm torn between getting him a cup or not as I found it to be uncomfortable and painful when I was using one.

      It's a personal choice and not an easy decision. I never wore one and ended up with damage to my epididymis (sperm tubes in the scrotum) which eventually required surgery. To be fair, I think that's rare and even after that I still don't train with one but I'm also done having kids so...🤷‍♀

      Absolutely! We have loaner uniforms people can borrow for their first few lessons and most other schools do the same. Just let them know and they'll get you all set up. Best of luck with your training!

    Also, watch for manipulation or mind control. Most predators GOOD AT WHAT THEY DO, do this. AND they are good at it, like Johan Liebert good. Three main components to manipulation are familiar trust, love/adoration, and fear. A psychopath good at mind control will use all three. (There may be more but these are the basics). "But wait" you ask, "how do I know I am being manipulated?" Well, most people don't. But there are cues/clues you can watch out for. Some examples: strangers being too friendly, people telling you what to do/demanding, the other person doesn't "submit" unless it suits them, finding out the person lied and lied and lied and lied about various things, etc, etc. But yes, watch out for manipulation, I think the mind/communication part is just as important as "the walk" this guy talks about.

      What you say is spot on. But most people are liars one way or the other, either they just want to be right about something or they cannot admit they are mistaken and then they twist what they said. People that are too friendly always look very suspicious. I'd also run away from strangers asking for help. They are suspicious too. Ted Bundy showed us that people even if they seem to be hurt, are not to be trusted. They can even use children as a decoy.

    Also, from my personal experience. 50% of the time psychopaths will LET YOU GO if you a.) walk away from them early enough or b.) stand up to them in some way. Most want easy, clueless, "weak", mindless people to play with. Now, this doesn't work for all. But a good majority I'd say it does.

      Zebras have evolved for this purpose specifically. They move in close groups and their stripes have a confusing / mesmerising effect on predators who often can’t pick out one from a mass of moving hypnotising stripes.

      Great question. Caffeine is a diuretic which causes dehydration, pulling water out of your muscle cells. That will impact test results, showing you have a bit less muscle mass than you actually do. It's best not to have any caffeine within 3 hours of your scan.

    The No.1 Best way to get rid of bad breath is to floss your teeth 2x per week. Brushing your teeth and tongue also helps . If people smell acidic, ie acidic body odour, the should try and add apple cider vinegar to water and drink. Do this every day. 1-2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar in 250-500ml of water

    A great upload, finally some sanity, I have given up counting the number of times I have been flamed for stating it is not 90% and it is almost 100% getting flamed for stating a basic defense (weave/guards) against strikes is essential in a street fight. Thank you, Liked, Saved & Subscribed

      Thanks for watching and commenting. Agree 100% about striking defense. Even the Gracies (who came up with that "90%" stat) started all their challenge fights on the feet against people throwing punches and kicks at them. Sadly that's becoming a lost skill for many who just practice tournament bjj.

      That's very true. The study referenced used that term though which is why it was used here. Not sure if they ONLY looked at psychopaths though or if their study included any violent criminals.

      Each school is different so be sure to ask the instructor. As for your worry about infections, ask about their history of skin infections like staph, ringworm etc. A good school should be cleaning and disinfecting their mats daily (or even multiple times a day if they have classes all day) to avoid this. We've been open for 8 years with ZERO incidents. 🙂 For additional protection, make sure you shower as soon as you can after each training session and NEVER walk around the gym bathroom with bare feet. That is far more likely to have germs than the mat. Bring a pair of sandles/flipflops/slides to wear whenever you go from the training floor to the locker room or bathroom.     I'm so glad that I found this video. I've been squatting with a smith machine because my gym doesn't have a squat rack, but I'll be changing to a one that has several squat racks, and yeah, I don't want to be that guy. Thanks a lot!
