What I'd like to kindly recommend is that when people do this, they do it outside and/or away from pets... especially cats, and where you can easily see the area you clean up. Over a carpeted area is not wise. I recently had one of my kitties pass away from all the complications of swallowing a needle, yes... a sewing needle. How and where he found one still baffles me because I don't sew. Cats are amazing at finding all sorts of hidden treasures 😅

Might want to loosen the rotor to hub bolts before you remove the caliper. Makes it way easier to break the bolts loose when replacing the brakes and rotors.

I'm planning on DIYing my own cat tower with old carpet scraps from the reuse store. My only concern is their nails getting caught on the staples. Did you find it to be a concern or anything when stapling them down?

I did my breaks on 2001 xterra and didnt know about that big black socket you needed. Coukdnt find one with 2 teeth only found one with 4 teeth. Had to cut 2 teeth off to make it work. Ive only changed those breaks on any car. Do all cars need that socket to replace breaks?

Your sense of humor is great. I learned alot in the process. I'm surprised by how much of these recarpeting and replacing parts can be done by own hand at home. I wish I saved the old cat tress and did this for them.
