Why is it worse than sticking a needle? I've been wondering how leather floggers can be cleaned if my intention is to use them with multiple people. 🤔 Because I can't use alcohol or soap etc... So is it safe to use them with people wearing clothes? (I hope I wrote it right because English is not my first language haha)

​@@amandavs4020 needles are typically used one time per person, even when exchanging. Flogging creates a big number of micro lesions on the skin, unless the act is purely symbolic, you can see this better by resting white toilet paper on flogged skin and then looking at it with a magnifying glass, you'll find many little blood dots on the paper. Leather can't be properly sterilized. I think owning the toys that are used on your own body is the best solution, I see how this might be a problem for "new users" but when facing a small chance of big consequences going cheap isn't smart. Probably jeans or similar materials would be protective but I doubt anyone has ever tested it (you also have to account for the risk of people not actually wearing the protection when they are in the moment, as it happens with condoms. A sub might want to remove the clothing because of temperature or insufficient intensity)

@@MrPaPaYa86 I've been using the person's accessories. I ask him/her to buy them because I didn't know if there was a possibility to clean mine properly. I know there are silicone floggers but I'm sure that soap and water wouldn't remove hepatitis for example. So I stick to the option of individual toys. This topic came up once in a fetish Facebook group and one of the answers was: "I clean it up with a little neutral washdisher soap diluted in water (or saddle soap) to remove superficial dirt, dry it with a cloth then let it rest for a month before using on other person." It seems the logic of the answer is expecting the pathogens to die outside the body. Does it make sense?

@@amandavs4020 obviously that method would not meet medical standard, e.g. it would not be effective against HCV. There are many types of silicone, some of which can be clean with sterilizing solutions so that could be a strategy. Disposable floggers might also be a good solution

I actually looked up and found this video after hearing her describe it in the trial or a documentary about them. And it is all about the consent. It looks like a fun thing if you are into it like the two in this video.

Come on. This is no where near actual torture. This is merely playing with sensations. Who cares what consenting adults do together? There are way worse things in the world like having a partner that is controlling or manipulative and emotionally abusive. All this is, is basically tickling on a whole other level. Like when couples play with feathers in the bedroom. Or enjoy erotic spanking.
