All pics in this video were taken by G9X mark2 and all movie in the video were taken by iPhone14 Pro. I think G9x mark2 is good for movie too but you need some other cameras if you want to take 4k movies.

@ thank you for the reply! I see. I do have cannon eos m6 however sometimes it is hard for me to bring with me. Now im looking for a small and compact camera for street photography. Sounds like g9x mark2 looks nice. Thank you for the video!

This video was shot with an iPhone 14 pro in hand. The camera that took the still images was Canon G9X mark2, and the camera that took the video was iPhone14 pro. I don't use any rig, and I only take videos with my iPhone in hand. I think iPhone 16 may be better than mine.

@ thanks for clarifying. The iPhone footage is so vibrant and smooth. I am wondering if there is a need to carry the G9X or a smaller camera like Olympus E-M5 iii. I have a Japan vacation coming up in April and I am wondering what I should carry to capture memories. Your advice would be helpful.

@@lights_of_life_1974 thank you! I’ve also got a G9X mark2 but I can’t seem to get my photos to have such balanced colour and light like yours, what camera settings do you use?

I use M-mode. F8〜11 SS 100〜250 WB and ISO is AUTO. I use these settings.

Thank you for comment! Photos taken with G9X Mark2 in low light have some noise, but I think the image quality is pretty good considering the size of the sensor. Here are some samples. @@lights_of_life_1974 but do you have to abuse the ISO? Or is 800 ISO enough for that small sensor?

Indeed sometimes I have to use iso 6400. If you want to use lower iso, you need some larger sensor camera.

They have a 1” sensor in them for low light performance. I own one. Great pocketable camera.
