Podcast Interview- Her Uniform: An 'Army Wife's' perspective on Hair Covering
Thought this podcast might be of interest to some of you.
For about a year I had been considering starting a hair covering podcast where I could interview individual women, sheitl Machers, medical professionals, etc. about every aspect of hair covering from migraines struggles, cultural norms, Halacha, etc.
Right before Sukkot of this year I had published my first episode with the intent to continue posting regularly after the holiday.
After the war here began on October 7th though, I didn’t feel I was ready to jump into discussing other topics that were not centered on the war.
After much thought, I have decided to relaunch the podcast but wanted to begin with discussing a topic that both relates to the war and to my podcast theme.
In this episode I speak with a friend about her experience covering her hair for the months her husband was in reserves in the IDF.
I believe this episode will resonate with many women who share a similar experience and provide important insights to what many army wives may experience to anyone not in the same role.

Do most Orthodox Jews hate Christians or just some?... I have seen several videos of Orthodox Jews in Israel showing hatred and contempt for Christians they did not even know.
I love your aethstetic
So Killing is not really bad however she is more concerned of her hair “not being covered” ? I do advice you to convert into islam it is the only true path

How old are you you look so young to be married.
We marry young
Well done on your consistence with learning Torah! most Jews don't do this everyday, so it's a very special thing and it should be celebrated. well done!
May ALLAH bless you with entire peace and success aameen sumaameen

Lovely video. I too hate people seeing me daven. I work and am the only Jew and I eat lunch when I’m the only one there so I can daven before I eat without being a spectacle
Shabbat Shalom nice meeting 🤝 a new friend shavuatov. Please be safe.
About 15,000 million Jews in the world. But the better question is how many follow and observe the Tanakh? Ive heard anywhere between 10-20%. The vast majority of Jews today are secular. Isnt this bizarre? Shouldnt you be trying to convert your own people to Judaism? There has been a lot of false teaching the last 2,000 years of Christianity and this has no doubt been a grievance to Jesus Christ. Whether you believe or reject Jesus the fact remains: He is the most famous Jew to ever live. He made Judaism famous. Where would Judaism be without Jesus? Nonexistent.
Quite the opposite, actually. because, when Christianity was popular, they tried to either convert Jews to Christianity -or wipe them out. so if Christians didn't exist, the whole history of Judaism would be different than how we know it nowadays.
What are you even saying lol. Judaism without jesus would be the same way it is now. The less famous the better, we don't rely on fame or proselytism like christianity and islam do
@@AchShelishi He fulfilled the sacrificial system taught by the Torah! Atoned for the sins of his people the Jews and the gentiles by pouring out his blood on the cross.
The real thing is that the only real religion with real followers is islam, both Judaism and Christianity were not supposed to be preserved until this day because: hello? Islam with Quran is the final testament and is the only religion that should be followed..
@ What does Islam teach about Jesus the Christ and why do they deny that he is God?
What kind of Orthodox Jew are you..modern ..or what ?? Thank you
wow the comments on this video are disgusting. just know you have my support! i am on my journey with judaism and your video helped me see what a realistic day looks like.
yay new video!
I have missed you so much Amalya! Thank you so much for this outstanding interview! You are so wonderful Amalya! ❤
women have the worst fate, read about the guett, the migveh etc of you see women as idf soldiers there’s a reason for it basically to them men are holy and shouldn’t be working and women can be used and abused in all ways and that’s why Amy died, read about it and you will know, if their wives are sick they are considered even more impure and the husband shouldn’t even hand her a glass of water or help her or take care of her.
U so beutiful girls❤❤❤😍😍
hello amalya i miss you... when will you make a new video😊?
Please stop slurping. Horrid sound.
Who is with you this boy
I come from a conservative Catholic family where modesty was encouraged. Whatever you had under your clothes was for your husband, not for the world to see. Really don't understand why So many young men today want their wives and girlfriends to look like prostitutes. Nice video. Keep them coming.
Better than dressing with dishonesty
Your a fine looking woman.
Lower ur gaze
Y'know it mad rude that someone tries explicitly not to be sexualized and you show up
she’s married
Don't look or talk about women that aren't yours
@AchShelishi what do you mean?
Congratulations on converting to Islam

Hello, May I share an Old Testament Verse with you from Daniel 7:14 "And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a Kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should SERVE Him; his dominion is an Everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom shall not pass away, and His Kingdom that which shall not be destroyed." Also, can I share Isaiah 53:5 " But HE was WOUNDED For our TRANSGRESSIONS, he was BRUISED for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon Him, and with His STRIPES we are HEALED." God the Father loves you so much that He sent Holy Sinless Jesus (His Holy Son) to earth to be born of a virgin. Then, to grow up and die on a cross for our sins. He was in the tomb for 3 days, then Father God raised Holy and Sinless Jesus Christ (Y'shua) to Life! He appeared to people and went back to Heaven. We must receive Sinless Jesus sincerely to be God's child(John 1:12).After we get saved by grace through faith in Christ, if we truly love the Lord Jesus Christ, then we will obey Jesus(John 14:15). Mark 1:15 "And saying, the time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: Repent ye, and believe the gospel." Jesus said in John 14:15 "If you love Me, keep My commandments. "There's a real hell. It says in Revelation 21:8 "But for the cowardly, & unbelieving, and abominable, and murderers, & immoral persons sorcerers & idolaters & all liars, their part will be in the lake that burns with fire & brimstone..." Please sincerely receive Holy Jesus and put your true faith & trust in Him today and please repent. Will you have a Real encounter with Holy Lord Jesus (Y'shua is His Hebrew Name) and stay in a Genuine relationship with Him daily please?
jesus was nothing but a false prophet lol
I’ve been thinking about you I miss your videos and I hope your safe ❤
Do you believe in Jesus Messiha
Jesus wasn’t messiah or god, Jesus failed every messianic prophecy except being a Jew.
jesus ain't anything but a delusion based on falsehood
We don't worship him as Orthodox Jews, no. It's also very disrespectful to talk about that
Jesus Is The Prophesied Messiah In Torah❤❤❤❤❤
Read Torah Again. He is not
No lol. He didn't fulfill a single messianic prophecy
I hope you are well.

Do you still use a toothbrush with mouthwash? Or would brushing with mouthwash be considered rubbing?
Yes, you can use a toothbrush with the mouthwash. The act of rubbing/smoothing that is prohibited on Shabbat according to most opinions does not apply to liquids. Here is an article explaining this issue in more detail: outorah.org/p/60782/
