interesting cat 7 cable you have there ours her in germany which is standard used almost everywhere is double schielded each pair and then all as a whole by the look of it here in the video there is just a wire for schielding in it?
Cat 7 is such a beautiful cable to work with. & Terminate with the right tools
Those things are freaking expensive even from aliexpress
th-cam.com/video/QgrVVyIzecM/w-d-xo.html no such thing as an ethernet splitter
guys there is no such thing as a ethernet splitter watch linus tech tips video about ethernet splitters 🤦
th-cam.com/video/QgrVVyIzecM/w-d-xo.html
without crimping tool is the best option.
Yes, and that's why they are easy to terminate.
Didn’t know you can do that without an RJ45 crimp. Neat!
And they are reusable!
OHHH i love it. I made a mistake of wiring my entire house with cat7, and then had wake up call when I noticed I need special plugs, and wiring them was such an ass, especially standing on 5m ladder outside trying to wire my camera lol
We are glad to help you!
aw, i want one! 🥹
Please check our channel to find this product on our website. The SKU is KJ20-C7.
That’s a chunky boy!
Not that easy. Bought these connectors a year ago but very difficult as their are 2 rows of holes top and bottom. Waste of time and money. Normal connectors are best.
1:06 You're doing two mistakes. 1 - You should be using the isolated crimping slot (marked with the color dots). 2 - You are pressing on the wrong side of the connector. The gap should be facing the "female" part od the crimper.
Thanks for your feedback! We will try to do better in our future videos.
I still prefer the regular rj45. I can put one on in under a minute and can get a giant bag on Amazon for Pennies
Category 7/Class F cable is not recognized by the TIA. Cat7 didn't catch on very well with most manufacturers; most hardware produced supports 8P8C rather than the GG45 or TERA for 10 Gigabit Ethernet products in order to function on Cat6a.
This guy knows his layer 1 networking.
Good god i hate those things
you going to fail fluke test with that kind of installation.. the braided wire is not touching the metal part of the connector, hence it's not grounded. it might pass continuity test but not the certification test.
Thanks for your feedback. Please check that the drain wire is wrapped around the cable and connected to the connector to provide a grounding function.
Hi electrician and network specialist here. Please don't use that cable in any of the locations I service. With that crappy shield connection, it's gonna be a hell of a time to find and rip out. -Sincerly, the guy that fixes everybodys stupid problems.
so crazy 2:46 2:54 you guy totally reverse t568b/t568a order do you want to demonstrate the network device will work even you reverse the order?😂
Thanks for your feedback. For this part, we are showing the correct order in the third view for the viewer's understanding. From left to right is the proper order.
Nice
We are glad you like it.

Muito bom, Rápido e claro.
Obrigado pelo vosso feedback!
$70 for 4 connectors???????? are you for real?
Hi, thanks for your comment. Please check our website to find this KJ20-C7. Please note that the unit price refers to one pack(2 pcs). You can also request a quote for more discount and bulk purchase.
Bro it is more easy to make and better than CAT6 OMG Everytime I'm making cat6 plug my hand just hurt as fork😭
You can use this field termination plug without any crimping tool, much easier!
Cool no crimping tool😊
Yes!

CAT.7 has no RJ45 if you put an RJ45 connector on it it's just CAT.6A. GG-45 for CAT.7. Buy a cheaper CAT.6A in the first place or a CAT.8 cable both are RJ45 compatible. I don't get why people still use CAT.7
Electrician with a network cable certification here. I asked at the course why you wouldn't just use CAT 6A since that can do 10gbit over the full 100 meter just like CAT 7. Apparently, the 10gbit copper adapters use less power with the higher grade cable. The 25gbit copper standard is so short distance and expensive (try to find a NIC) that you can just DAC cables or fibre. That means my experience still stands. If you need faster then 10gbit and/or long distance, just use glass fibre cable. It's cheaper and uses less power then copper.
@@Ricko1Games Thanks for sharing, I am using fibre only at home (in house). With the exception of some Access Points which are POE powered. But even for these I am using CAT 8.1 for the upgradebility. But CAT 7 is mostly limited to 10Gb/s there is a variant which can use up to 1000Mhz but that one is rare and even if you install it with a CAT 6A connector it won't use it's full potential. CAT 8.1 is good if you want to use speeds up to 10Gb/s and beyond (not yet available, maybe never) especially if we are looking at POE. For everything else you should use fibre or for very short runs DACs.🙂
CAT 7 is also a proprietary non-standard that varies from manufacturer to manufacturer, correct?
@@technerd9655 Not really, it is a standard that is defined but they designed it with another plug and connector in mind rather than RJ-45 they wanted to use the GG-45 specifications. so that's why I think CAT 7 and 7a are not really important in todays day and age. CAT 6A or 8.1 or fibre is the way to go. Skip 7 alltogether
Honestly that is how ALL RJ45's should be assembled!
Yes, installations of toolless field termination plugs may be similar. The differences during installation may depend on their structures.
I wish but can you imagine the cost? 😬
There is no CAT7 standard for RJ45
@@akorenkovnor cat8
Yes those plugs are awesome.
I had a tech tell me cat 7 does not work with pass-through rj45s is that true?
Cat7 may be less commonly used in daily life. But it supports the transmission speed of 10Gbps at a frequency of 600 MHz. And people can use pass-through plugs for Cat7. Such as this one. www.vcelink.com/products/cat7-rj45-plug
Pass through is trash
This is super helpful! Thanks
Thanks for your feedback! We are glad that you like this.
Whats the difference between this and the regular rj45 lan port...Can it be used in the regular rj45 lan ports ???? Thanks in advance
It is easier to terminate these field termination plugs than regular RJ45 connectors. Because no crimping tools are needed. And yes, it can be used in the regular RJ45 lan ports.
The wires in cat 7, imagine laid out like in standard RJ45, _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ < are wider than rj45 plug. You have to arrange them like _ - _ - _ - _ - < this. And terminating in this layout using special variation is absolutely ASS
Thanks guys....looks a lot easier than crimping those lan plugs
Hamne bhi college mei banaya tha
That's a good way of practice.
cut too much
Thanks for your feedback! We will try to do better in the future.

I didn't know it's this easy i thought you need to use some kind of fancy gadgets since it's the internet
Hello, thanks for your feedback. This field termination plug supports Cat7 network of up to 10 Gbps and 600 MHz.

Wait what??? Cat 7???
Yes, this is a Cat7 field termination plug.
❤❤❤
Thanks for your support!
Maybe for premise cabling but You could just use regular rj45 and a coupler.
Hello, thanks for your comment. Yes, RJ45 connectors and couplers can be good choices, too.
Why would you lay a delicate cable on the floor
Hello, thanks for your feedback! Here is a demonstration to give a tutorial on using a cable extender to fix a broken cable. We will try to do better in our future videos.
I feel like there would be a cheaper, less bulky, easier way to do this
Hi, thanks for your comment. There are indeed many other ways to solve a broken cable problem. Here is just one of the options. You can also choose connectors and couplers.
extremely unnecessary and overpriced solution.
Thanks for your feedback! Here is just a recommendation. You can choose different products based on your actual situation.
Don’t you have to strip the tips of the wire to make a proper connection?
Hi, thanks for your feedback. Before termination, we willstrip the shielding foil around the twisted pairs. But we need to keep the drain wire to provide a grounding function.
when will cat 7 come ?
Hello, Cat7 gained approval in 2002. It aims to support a maximum data transfer rate of 10 Gbps over a 100-meter (328-feet) distance. If you want high performance, you can choose it. Before using it, you can take some time to do research on Cat7. I've included a blog here for you to refer to. www.vcelink.com/blogs/focus/cat6-vs-cat7
@@vcelink1671 thanks sir
Still we don´t know where use A or B... Useless...
www.vcelink.com/blogs/focus/t568a-vs-t568b Here is a blog that maybe helpful to you.
Why?
Hello, this Cat7 Ethernet Adapter can extend, repair, and reconnect cables, providing a stable network connection without affecting network transmission.

يسعدني أن هذا المنتج أعجبك.
I may be wrong, but shouldn't you connect wire shielding to plug chassis? Take care
Hi, thanks for your feedback. The drain wire was wrapped around the cable to provide grounding.
