Thanks you ! If i remember correctly when i drawn this part i was wandering if peoples woukd understand that they had already seen each other. The fall from the cloud was a thing i added right before finishing it all. Im glad it was worth it since this seam to be the favorite part of some peoples. Have a Nice day

i am absolutely obsessed w this animatic. i put the song on my playlist to loop it but every single time the "she fell and fell hard" line comes up i envision the flying section it's sooooo gorgeous oughgh and the shift of wukong also having to be the one to kill him is heartwrenching. and lady bone demon grabbing him for revival..... the beautiful animation of macaque's eye being killed by his beloved........ incredible. 10000/10 makes me crazy

Despite them having an argument. He still kept an eye on for Wu, in the shadows.Even when the monk put the Crown on Wu, I love the look of revenge on Mac face.Especially when the reunited I had to play the part a couple of times when they're free falling from the sky. That would just beautiful.

I love this! Shadowpeach has become one of my fav just seeing this as canon in my mind Edit: I'm getting the story here abit basically Macaque wanting to kill the monk to free Wukong from his duty so they can both be reunited and be together again. But Wukong though fights Macaque as he is loyal to the monk and has began to see him as his friend. In the end Wukong killed him feeling immense pain of killing the only person he loved and disappeared(After his fight with BDK). And Macaque's body is found by the LBD and later revived

Of curse ! This is a short that i had done when i was thinking of making a story with my oc Jinyu, who would be the reincarnation of the goldfish demon in Jttw. At first, she would present herself as a good guy to finnaly become the antagonist of the story. Taking control of the weather station ( cause of her weather related powers ) and taking ostages the peoples in it. She would challenge MK to defeat her like Monkie King did in her previous life. Monkie King had fought so many demon that he probably dont remember her, so she will make shure his student and all the peoples remember her-

Ok the expressions are SO WELL DONE!!! WHAT?! I loved 2:07 - 2:15, it fit well with the sudden drop and hype of the music, like how love make your heart beat faster. 2:30 - 2:40 is just chef's kiss, their aura screams cocky and playfulness like how the use to tease around eachother >.< This is very very underrated for a first like animatic and I love the artstyle, it does fit with the vibe of "legend" and mythos, but it also reminds me of Studio Ghibli's a bit

Chilling!!! Lovely song choice. Such a unique way to adapt the song to fit the story you were weaving. I think this is one of my favorite tellings of the monkey “divorce”.
@@noose.monkey Thanks you, i adapted the way it hapen in journey to the west to lmk. Because in the original legend, mac' attack Tripataka disguised as Wukong except wukong doesnt know macaque even existed so he fight him to death. But in Lmk they do know each other for a very long time so i sort of mixed the two version in term of story telling. Im glad you enjoyed it, have a nice day !

I love this part too dont get me wrong but i was feeling that i already had put all the expression and action i could think of... And i couldnt figure out what to put in there.
