I hope you know the difference between a soil saver and a plow? Title might have been better as fall.tillage?
Someday, you’ll be not doing that. For your soils sake, just saying.
your not lacking for power you could pull a bigger plow.
The ole Valmet in your 3690 sounds sweet. Used to have 2 of those tractors back in the day. My bad, i thought I saw Dynashift on the hood.
@@brandontegan9665 Thanks for watching!
Looks like ripping not plowing just saying
iif it a MASSEY COMBINE ALLWAYS GOOD TO WATCH
@@petergardner2334 Thamks!
who is your helper
@@francistopp5938 That is my cousin. He is retired and loves to help farm. He actually helped my grandfather on the farm when he was young. Thanks for watching.
nice to see a Massey combine
@petergardner2334 Thanks for watching
Scarlet and gray.must be an Ohio farmer.finally got some rain last weekend.
@danvanhoose6783 yes I am. And obviously a huge Ohio State fan. Thanks for watching.
Man it’s a bummer when your tile is shallow normal conditions we would pull a chisel plow as deep as a tractor could pull it
@peanutsmith1462 Yeah, a lot of our tile is the old clay tile that was put in by hand 75+ years ago.
LOOKS LIKE THERES PLENTY OF MOISTURE IN THE GROUND.
Nice looking beans 🫘

Awesome channel. Love seeing Massey equipment and love watching your videos. Keep it up 👍
@@briancrossno Thanks! And thanks for watching!
I enjoy the content and nice to see videos of Massey’s cause you sure don’t see to many of them anymore are they an offset cab or do you sit in middle of head? A farm by us use to run strictly Massey’s and Ford/ New Hollands but switched the Masseys for Fendts
@tylerh9956 this combine sits in the middle and the engine is at the rear of the combine. Glad you enjoy! And thanks for watching!
thats whats called fjnding another gear when you see a big storm coming .
We have exactly the same grain truck, colour, box size!
@@randykrochak1185 it's a good truck. We have had it for a long time. Thanks for watching.
Nice bless u
looks like its yielding great.
@richardlance7193 so far it seems to be.
I see you have a son in traning.
Good luck with the harvest

i used many stop leak better just fix it right drain it braze it getting hard find men to braze them i do it my self better when i bought my truck it had plumbing parts pipe fitting such is cheap easy fit rubber on lot mounts bushing are gone so guy was from depression used old stuff old thick rubber no metal contact not getting cheaper
@phillipbremer7715 we pulled the radiator and the shop told us that it was beyond fix able. So we had to put a new one it.
i have few say this quite $itching diffent motors differnt axle etc ya engineers design could be better dont like something do something relocation add a hose and fitting etc nothing worse then cooked oil cakes dirt i fix many that way yes old steel or some say this or that dont want rust diesel brush coat 50/50 spray does great
Their eating all the cats and dogs has to be none of the things to say
Fortunately you own an MF combine so combine prep involves changing oil, kicking tires, and greasing a few fittings. Unlike your JD combine owning neighbors where combine prep involves extensive upgrades and service technician billable hours. I run a 9790.
Lol very true, thanks for watching!
great pull you shifted at the right time, good to see msseys pulling good.
When I used to farm we had two of these 180,s they had wide fronts but I think the 180 was one of the best tractors Massey made. We had an 1100 and a1080 in that style too but the 180 was the most convenient to drive and use. Congratulations on the pull. Do you ever use it for anything on the farm it was our planting and cultivation tractor
Thank you. Ours had a wide front when we bought it, but we switched it to a narrow. We basically just pull it, don't use it on the farm. Thanks for watching!
Good looking tractor
Thank you, and thanks for watching.
Absolutely. I always wondered how a 180 would do in a pull.. now I know. Appreciate the video!
How do u like the 4243? Dependable? How many hours on it?
It's been a good tractor. I do all of my planting with it. Never really had any major issues with it. It has just over 6000 hrs on it.
nice pull.
Thanks!
You got some work to do in that field. KNOCK IT OUT JOHN.
do you disc straight with the old rows, or go at a bit of an angle
@@francistopp5938 I go on a little bit of an angle.
Thanks for watching
Nice Masseys I take it u love them too
you made the right choice.
I think the phrase knee high by the fourth of July must come from like Canada or something where the growing season doesn't start until really late.
put it back with a little anti seize.
@@LyleBrand yep, thanks for watching.
aint removing old bearings that have beenin the dirt fun.
great job of paying attention io everything.
So I was wondering were we supposed to be watching the tire of the tractor the whole time? Would it be better to let us see the dirt getting turned up just a thought. Luckily the cameras is good.
I had other footage, but just like the intro video it either didn't record or it was lost. Sorry wish I had better footage.

cool tractor

GREAT VIDEO
Thanks
I get out and poor bleach on my neighbours crops. they always have trouble every season with their fields so probably don’t put bleach on it. Water seems to work better
Cool camera placements.

sounds like the old 65 is sputtering a little at pto rpm.
nice fields long rows
