A strange experience. One season is effectively two separate seasons. Part 1 is 19 matches in the West conference. Part 2 after a long transfer window is the same 19 matches in the East conference. I finished 17th in West and 4th in East. And that was that. No idea what might happen thereafter store.playstation.com/#!/tid=CUSA00572_00

Ask not what your country can do for you
If you look at Jarvis' stats he starts out with Finishing at the kind of level that not many strikers get to. That's why he's Jarvis. Give him a run of games and you, too, will see... And the variety of goals too.
:) it was just a case of believing in him
He needs to up his game though - 2 goals from 19 matches. Team total of 11... Hervey has already been sold.
and as for Hervey.... On a more serious note, I think I might have a duff Rice. He seems very underpowered, particularly in this league. Early days but something to watch
As a Rice connossieur, having had about 5 different ones in different careers, it's the ones where he seems duff to begin with that he comes through the strongest. In my South American ML right now, Bassano - the South American Rice - is suddenly Player of the Year every season, after 3 seasons of mediocrity to begin with. Season 7 just underway and he's dominating. Dominating! As for Hervey - nice tidy Jarvis-like finish. My next go-round with the Euro Defaults I'll make a point of keeping him on longer than I usually do.
Clearly Jarvis will never amount to anything....
good to see you back Turf, and keeping faith with us north of the border
Only in the Democratic Republic of Paisley. The rest of you are heathens. 😆
St Mirren play in a very attravtive kit don't they. And that is one of those misses where you think "If that had gone in, I would never have been unhappy about anything again." And - Hervey??? Always one of the ones I ship out early, as fast as possible. I often wonder what Rices and Jarvises and Castledines might be lurking among the majority of Defaults who never make it past transfer window 1 or 2. Was Coutinho injured?
I found Hervey's south American cousin, forget the name, surprisingly decent - a couple of years younger so develops a bit
The Newcastle-alike of the kit was one of the reasons I chose St M (alongside the idea that I might actually be able to get a first time job with them - I hate starting unrealistically with one of the big boys. That shot was very much an if only but I never actually thought it would go in. Not this early, not with him.
@@abbeyhil I can't stand the fella tbh but he's better than Mihailov et al. Likewise I have never had a Jarvis that worked. I know you two have but I just can't get him playing. I'm already lining up replacements and Arcas is now up top.
unique celebration
Haha
The must-win game that early is a true rarity, don't remember having one that early - but I never play in the variety of leagues that you do and I would bet the RNG is different for each one. This just made me think, with no eFootball Master League on the horizon at all, maybe playing a full Master League career in every available league of PES 2021 on FUMA and Superstar (or Legend?) is what I should do with the rest of my life. I've played in La Liga and the Campeanato in Brazil (still a live save that one) but nowhere else.
I've started in leagues that I like to think there may be a ridiculously unlikely back story to how I came to be there - the old kicking a ball in a park where the manager of local team FC happens to be walking his dog when they have an injury crisis - so Thailand, MLS, France 2, etc etc - but my aim is always to move on from there to a bigger club. I'm just not a one club man since they included that option. Progress has stalled on the diary of St Mirren thanks to Covid, holidays, and catching up with the MLB (and NFL pre-season). I started messing around with Madden again and bought a copy of MLB the Show. I intend to return to the career now I'm back at work.
glad you managed to persuade Pongracic to rejoin the project for the umpteenth time! Castledine-Arcas-Jarvis goals will forever have that classic PES 2021 air
It's a nice kit, and has early Newcastle associations for me (before they adopted national colours and the like). Jarvis has never been a player for me, I just don't rate the fella. But needs must and everyone gets a clean slate in this career. I've got very limited budget so I intend to make the most of the default midfield/strikers and bring in keeper/defence.
This is going to be a slow burn career. I've been doing research interviews and stats for the last X years in my job and got asked to review a paper that used ethnography. Made me realise I'd got out of practice with this method and I wanted something to work on. In the absence of any funding for something 'real' I thought my experience as a new manager in PES would be ideal. So I'm treating this as an immersive project. Every game, every time period between games, I'm writing down my thoughts, reflecting on my decisions and documenting my struggles. I chose St Mirren because of the more realistic feeling for me, and not needing to get my head round the league or rules first. It does mean I can't rattle off multiple games in a night though, each one has to count, each has meaning. This first one was unbelievably dull but I was very pleased to not lose. At some point I'll write it all up and stick it somewhere.
sounds extremely interesting! Look forward to seeing how things play out down for you down in Paisley. That has to be the narrowest formation I have ever seen
@@abbeyhil Very slow at the moment - I got diverted by the idea of the open world of the wild west. Turns out RDR2 online is devoid of much interest these days - think I saw 2 players amidst what seemed like a real grind. Back to near the end of Chapter 3 offline instead.
Always been a fan of the St Mirren kit ever since Coventry played them in the short-lived Anglo-Scottish Cup in 1988. And that's a fine Jarvis finish. He's not just a Mick Quinn.
@abbeyhil Much as it pains me to admit, the fly by night manager is going to restart. There's something about being in another calendar that doesn't translate very well in the PES journey when you move continents. Missed regen window, weird youth team, starting mid season with no objectives. And also that inclusion of old Lobato in the default team who I sold for £20+m gave me too much leeway in season 1. New beginnings, in Europe.
youth team infrastructure needs a bit of investment although I do worry if this fly-by-night manager will see it as a priority
It seems to be a bit of a thing if you go from one country to another. When I went from Thailand to Europe my new club was full of Asian players, when I moved to Man U from Nancy it was loaded with very below par nobodies. You seem to get the lowest possible cohort, no regens, no potential stars until it resets on your new calendar. A difficult first transfer window with no benefit whatsoever of the old boys match - regens simply haven't appeared as scheduled. Good job I'm not a cheque-book manager as some of those previously trying their luck in Italy.
You've really got your eye in with the midrange finesse curlers. A beloved type of goal for me, and no, they never stop feeling satisfying. I wondered what you were doing with Plastun there. I thought, he's a wrong 'un. Then the scooped aerial through-ball went in and I thought, that's a good 'un. Nice to see the old faces in Brandt and Grandal (the American continent's Arcas). Not suprised not to see Bassano. I still pick him in my Brazilian ML and still try the 30-yarders with the same regularity but after 4-5 seasons none have gone in. Matutes (Jarvis) isn't quite the same either.
Yes, the short corner routine for a curled floater seems to be a bit of a turn and shoot sweet spot. Of course you don't see the many hundreds that missed but it's a lot higher strike range than the mid range gun barrel blaster. It is a bit of a shame that no matter where you start the free agent pile is the same and tbh who can afford to ignore them. I got more this time around because of the Lobato transfer, you'll have clocked bargain Bellingham as well. Ulloa had his release fee met (even after I gave him a new contract) hence not featuring often. Bassano was not even close to a Rice - he is completely anonymous really, not worth a spot once I signed the Russian guy with the similar hard shot. The Plastun scoop is something born out of frustration at the park the bus and it seems to cause a bit of panic. Worth a go. But not for me in Toronto....at the end of the season I got an offer too good to ignore, and tbh I don't like being out of sync with Europe. It meant going to a club mid-season but within a transfer window and wow, do they need help - 37 players with atleast a dozen either on loan or loanees....all to be reveealed.
Alt-Rice (Bassano) has been 'meh' for me too across ~4 seasons in South America (an ML I'm itching to get back to now that my FUMA phase is waning). There is only one Rice. Alt-Castledine, though, Ulloa, is just as effective as the Euro version, and yes, he is dynamite on the right of any setup, cutting inside and unleashing havoc. I saw your own FUMA thoughts on the other vid and you seem to have got the gist, but the downside of FUMA is that it punishes every slight error you might make. The real FUMA heads play long match times to offset the long periods when they're without the ball. I see the appeal, and feel it, but I've got unfinished business with PES 2021 on standard settings, crazy to say.
Yes, I saw some conversations on that there Reddit that were talking about 15 minute halfs and the like. That would be a PES only gaming life for the time I have free and I can't imagine having the patience. It'd be like coming home from work and firing up the flight simulator to take a jaunt to Rome - I'd be just across the channel before I'd want guns and crash landings. One thing I have to add about the MLS - wow, is it boring. The strips are the opposite of Ligue 2 - it's effectively reds v whites - total lack of stripes, hoops, flourishes or any other kind of individuality. It isn't the hardest league though - defaults, season 1 I've only lost 4 out of 16 (too many draws) and have won both rounds of the cup. I see it very much as a stepping stone.
It’s going to take a while to not think B. Ulloa is J. Rice. Thanks to the old man Lobato money I had a big lump to spend on recruits. Unfortunately opting for something a bit different is difficult when there are clear bargains in the free agent pile and yards of also rans. In came friends of the programme Brandt, Tevez, Civelli, Pogracic as I went for a minimal 18 man squad with some genuine quality. Possibly my best decision though was moving to a 3-4-3, a formation I’ve never played, and moving Ulloa (the Castledine of the Americas) to SS on the right - the latter inspired by NG’s Castledine cut inside discussion. He’s been a revelation. My Rice really. While my actual Rice (Bassano) has been meh.
B. Ulloa is the Rice of ML default LATAM?
No, despite him looking the same he isn’t. It’s a strange one as I’ll mention below
South American ML? You know who they all are of course (South American Rice never quite hit the heights but South American Castledine was a carbon copy). It's a tough and niggly game there. Still have mine on pause while I get through my FUMA phase.
Not quite (see above to @slamsoze). This was me starting an MLS career, a league I’ve never played and no doubt has some odd rules about playoffs etc. I went full manual and spent ages messing around with through ball before I realised that manual pass pretty much does away with through ball, and also that advanced through ball/runs are ridiculously difficult to pull off. So I settled in to half a dozen games on top player full manual passing and shooting. This was the first goal I scored. I presume South American default is North American but the Rice lookalike is an amf Ulloa who I think is the Casteldine. The Rice Rice is Bassano from Peru. And of course old man Lobato turns up in the squad with no comparable European default. While I think manual is the future, right now I just want to pipe and slippers it during the Euros. So I restarted a level 1, basic shooting on Superstar. A Chinese team promptly bought out Lobato’s leaving price so I have a lump of cash to invest. It’s all feeling quite odd because of that Lobato outlier. And of course Rice was never born in this world.
I've spent the last week or so messing around with EAFC Ultimate Team and is truly awful, even offline. So back to PES but now I think is the time to end this particular career. This Rice shot sums it up - I came close but I wasn't really in danger of winning the big prizes and my talisman was starting to go downhill. I was losing 3-0 to Spurs having lost 1-0 to some nobody team in the CL. High possession, many shots, to no avail, when it decides you're not the one it needs a better player than me to overcome it. And it's Man Utd anyway. So the Newcastle-Nancy-Man U journey is over. I won precisely nothing. I'm torn between starting World Class same again but behave differently, or going manual on a - don't say it Abbeyhill - lower setting. Not sure right now, the 20 shots to stay at nil is a problem, don't know if manual will overcome this? There might be a few false starts along the way.
I'm more confused by 'World Class' - you mean Superstar, no? EAFC gameplay certainly is not great but there are some aspects I find compelling on career mode, good player individuality and difference between good and bad opposition teams
and I still maintain that Rice, despite playing above his stats, should never be a talisman of a team with high level aspirations
@@abbeyhil indeed - that EA Fifa stuff rots the brain. I realised after I posted that it went Top Player, Superstar, etc rather than WC. Tbf I am only playing within Ultimate Team, but that mode really is junk. It’s a dribbling contest, passing is redundant. I’m amazed by how much of a backward step it seems.
@@abbeyhil you’ll regret those words when the ‘bad boy’ catches up with you…
I find camera a very crucial point of my gameplay. Even the angle or the height can give me a different perspective of the depth of field. As for the radar, i use it since ISS on SNES and FIFA 99, so I've practically never played without radar. But i know people that do not like radar or name plates, some even play without powergauges. I assume it's what you are used to.
End of season 2028. A few notes on this though - firstly, no-one would ever play Rice wide on the left, I don't even have a formation with a left. He's the engine room not some wafty winger. Secondly, the rest of the team is laughable. Man City won the league by miles. Wolves were second (they are considered one of the top clubs in my world), I was 3rd. That team should be packed with Man City players. Even if it isn't I only conceded 24 goals. Thirdly, I got the dreaded message that Rice had dropped by a point to 74 ovr. He is on his way down (surprisingly so is Haaland - both are 28). I have got regen Toni Kroos and this might be the season I have to split game time. And the Euros were awful - ridiculously fast, ping pongy nerf football - I lost all 3 group matches to the odd goal.
I'd certainly always want Rice in and around my squad, but am in awe at the miracles you & nG have squeezed out of his modest stats over the seasons
Surprisingly I've taken the added slog of being England manager and played all the matches - I think there's a Euros at the end of this what was supposed to be a one match stand in job. The reason being it is a useful sandbox in the absence of club friendlies. One thing I've found very hard in the club season (I'm 3rd but Man City and dozens of points ahead) is breaking down the AI edge of the box wall. Additionally, my passes sometimes go nowhere near the intended place as nerf kicks in. I've knocked the England camera out to the much wider view - same height and angles - and it's showing me a lot more of the player runs that I will need now that simply being a much better team isn't enough. I doubt I'd have seen this Bellingham run at club level (and does anyone use radar??). I'm going to switch permanently.
nice goal and angle! That's the camera I play with, although it does leave the players looking tiny on the laptop screen. Used to love playing international tournaments and leagues back in the day of classic PES but don't find them such a good fit into a ML
And as a footnote, I've never seen that 'Bellingham arms/shush' celebration from Rice or any other player either. I never press any buttons after a goal though. Same thing happens to me on FIFA 24 (that's its name to me) where I'll score and I'll watch the player running across the pitch doing nothing, and then belatedly press a button at random to get them to do something or other.
I'm not a fan of most of the celebrations as they are often out of context - a tap in that the player trots off from then two seconds later he's bombing towards the corner flag - I think it's just me mashing the buttons to get going again and triggering something. I despise the ones that interact with microphones etc, almost as much as when I (the manager) show fury at a missed chance then applaud the effort. Show me a near miss and I'll show you a miss...
I think they are more contextual on PES, depending where exactly on the touchline you sprint with the scorer, rather than requiring a certain button press. Doesn't explain why Rice was shushing his own fans though
@@abbeyhil I don't 'sprint with the scorer' either. After a goal goes in I don't press or do anything other than press Start eventually, or sometimes immediately. If I do wait a few seconds before pressing Start, I'm not pressing any button at all. Not even the directional control. The pad rests in my palms with no new input whatsoever, until Start is pressed. I only ever see the player(s) running in a line or cluster. So there is a whole world of PES 2021 that I have never seen.
@@GregDowns this is because you are on your feet gesticulating wildly around the room?
@@abbeyhil no, it’s because I’m staring at the screen with manic intensity in the way Robert De Niro stares in Taxi Driver.
hah! I saw and enjoyed the Riceness of the missed one earlier, but it's as if the PES gods owed you one and paid up. This was a few yards closer it looked like but the same end of the pitch, the same direction and style of shot. I was going to say on the other one but will say here: 99% of my Rice shots are like the one that went wide (or they get blocked, or go over, or are saved, etc.). 1% of them are like this one. But they're SO satisfying.
Interesting as these two have been very 'not Rice' shots for me up till now. Much faster, much lower. I do use finesse with him quite a bit but even the straight on piledrivers have been more considered thumps, whereas these are pinging off his boot like volleys would. Even though he's reached 75 ovr he has never gained any of the shooting traits so I'm not sure if it's me or him that's evolved.
I included this Rice miss because it really surprised me. Not much was happening around the box so I decided to have a punt with the nation's favourite long ranger. Power was about my usual for him, he gives himself a bit of pace to work with through the forward touch but it's not a fast run onto effort, and I just shot - no finesse, etc. He has scored some daisy cutters for me but this is low, powerful and very very fast - I've never seen anything like it. After the game I got a bid for him - £8million. Derisory for the man who keeps pulling rabbits out of hats despite seeming to be stuck at 75 overall.
also interesting he lashed it with his left foot despite the ball seemingly sitting up nicely for his right
@@abbeyhil I honestly don't know which foot is Rice's supposed best one - I assume it says right in the player details but I have a go with either and they all seem to fly.
roll on the VAR feature! Out of the irony, it's amazing what KONAMI achieved in the latest PES installments. Most clear Penalties are ignored or denied, while the majority of fouls the ref awards me inside the penaly area, are usually some late collision detection, or some bad collision detection
It was awful, and so many more obvious ones got nothing. I think that's my second penalty in 300+ matches
dear me, not sure how Bale's legs went flying in that direction, a travesty. You know there's a way of quick-selecting a set piece taker without going into the formation screen??
I did but I can't remember what it is, and I don't understand why it didn't give me the taker I actually had specified in the settings as he was still on the pitch
I got asked, as you often do by season 2 regardless of any success. Intended to do a one match Peter Taylor effort then discovered you can’t, you have to take it for the season. That’s annoying as I don’t want to do it but here we are. No idea if there is a tournament ahead.
Tried it once, I think the first game it was introduced, but disliked how it disrupts the rhythm of the ML experience. You're getting into it with your team and players and developing some nicely, worrying about a few others, enjoying a player starting to get in the goals, and looking forward to seeing how the story unfolds next match -- but then you have to go off and play sometimes 2-3 matches with a completely different team, using players you usually don't know and don't care about. You'll end up simming them all.
@@GregDowns Indeed, and also looking to not pick your own players so they don't come back wrecked. I've played two matches and not cared about either - they seem to come in 2s which is irritating.
Wow! I do worry that the overhead kick police will be arriving soon though.....
I believe some would mistakenly describe this as ‘scissors’. They are of course the same people who miscalculate shooting yardage. I currently have regen messi, Ronaldo, and bale in my squad. They are all known for their irl traits but along with Haaland I’m struggling to show anything unique about them. There is more individuality in Rice. This is the first ‘big player’ thing I’ve seen from any of them. Anyway, I finished the season in 8th. Never in the hunt for anything but Man Utd were so low when I got there that it was fine, new contract rolled around and I shipped out the last of the genuine old guard. New season is my team, it’s all on me.
A classic...overhead....kick. All the more impressive given that we are running on Spring time so lost an hour of vital club practice because of the naturally shorter day. I like the way Haaland boots the ball at the defender after scoring. Amazingly, after the match I was told he had declined one point that month and his best days were likely behind him. He's 27!!
The derby day trauma made me fear the worst but like a benevolent old uncle PES gave me some absolute dream match ups for my next few games - space just suddenly opened up, pretty much every shot I tried from outside the box had a better than usual chance of going in, there's even a straight from kick off goal. The only thing I changed was dropping Fernandes, which dropped my team spirit by 10 points, so it really has felt like another shift of the narrative. Approaching the transfer window and I feel like I pretty much can't sign anyone - I have a fortune but every player responds that they don't feel they'd get enough playing time. It's the problem with taking on the big club job, but then again I do have regen Messi up front as he was lying around the free agent pile!
with all due respect this sounds like the paranoid ramblings of a manager under a lot of pressure
Whereas this chancer....the Neil Warnock of PES? - actually I felt I was under massive pressure. I'd been getting the cut scenes about must win before derby and had a run of Spurs, Liverpool and then City. I'd dropped to 13th after my opening stroll against Arsenal - couldn't put any sort of form together and was 4-4-5 or thereabouts. However, Man Utd are currently 50th in the world rankings (Wolves and Fulham are higher!) so they must have had a terrible few seasons. I think expectations are very low so there wasn't even a message to suggest I was in danger.
Those hardcoded rival matches and some knock out matches are usually very irritating. Handicap to human player, questionable referees, final whistles in +1 minute over the the added time when CPU needs to score, or or ending the match in 90'49'' instead of 91' when you are counter attacking for one last chance. The no-fouls and PKs i would say seems normal by now, since they are been neglected even in ordinary matches.
thank you @slamsoze - you are clearly an elite manager like me and familiar with the struggles we endure. 😁 (I think I just got hit with all of the things you list)
Lovely hit - is that the Diego from the Youth setup?
I’m not sure - I got him via the free agent pile in Jan of last season because weirdly Man U’s entire youth squad was full of Asian 50 somethings, like a default season 1 effort. He’s the right age (19) for a recent regen but not for season 6. Hoping he will replace Bruno F eventually
awful control, scruffy pass then suddenly a sublime finish!
It was a dog’s breakfast indeed. I ran out 4-1 winners but have since struggled. Think it decided I’d got off too well and promptly hit me with three draws and being dumped out of the cup by Millwall.
Consequently, I decided on a break and fired up RDR2...that's a rabbit hole I can feel myself falling back into. Last time I ended up making stew to eat while playing
Interested to hear how that goes@@Uncleturf . Personally I adore RDR2 but that's entirely on story and atmosphere rather than gameplay - has none of the freedom and creativity of e.g. your Skyrim
@@abbeyhil No, and I think that's why I gave it up last time - that you have to do certain missions to unlock areas, and there is limited free will in some missions. I'd also forgotten how easily you die - or fail if you don't do something in time, it's very GTA like that. However, simply riding around and living the life of a hunter is superb - after a certain point I may just ignore the story to go fishing.
don't think I've seen a dive called in my hundreds of hours playing. A few penalties but pretty much all of them saved - keeper suspiciously always goes the right way.....
Great! I acquired Tarantini in my Lecce ML, very good signing
what a moment that would have been - last minute Rice 30 yarder in the derby! Certainly never seen him at 75 OVR. Interesting those captaincy boosts, wasn't fully aware of that
disappointed that the press room at Old Trafford isn't much of an upgrade
That one is a great example of the feature working as intended. You know you can try it too as well? R1+R2+R3+L1+L2+L3. You have to be very opportune with it. I remember trying it when it was introduced... I'm going to guess it was around PES2010-ish. If this is the first you're hearing about the feature it's because unless you execute the command at the right time and place, you always get the treatment the ref dishes out there. A random Google just now turns up some claims of successfully winning penalties, so who knows. I get penalties at the rate of about 1 every 5 seasons. I've missed my last few.
It does look like a wrong decision - "if the on-field ref had given it, it wouldn't have been overturned", as we hear all the time now - but I'm amazed it's a first for you. I see opposition players booked for penalty area simulation quite regularly in my Master League worlds and always have done. At least 2-3 times a season on average. This is a bit like when I saw your players do a run-behind-the-goal celebration and it was the first time I'd ever seen it, never seen that in mine.
It depends on some player's celebration animations, but you can trigger it manually, if you move your player in specific positions into amd out of the pitch, after you score a goal. You can also kick the ball into the nets, if you move towards the ball and hit shoot button (it's square for me) in the right time.
Never had a dive called in all the games I've played, and then two in consecutive matches. I've only had one penalty in 7 seasons as well.
The Man U squad I inherited was good, but big, old and very expensive. De Gea, Maguire, Bailly, Fernandes, Martial, VD Beek, Rashford plus too many similar strikers the wrong side of 27. Think of Man U's transfers from around 2018-20 plus other square pegs. I didn't want to destroy the team spirit but it was a time bomb. But I didn't get a lot of offers for them so had to offer trades. Problem with this is that potential signings decided they were unsure of their place in the squad. I got knocked back by so many that I had to go for regens and players from 'other' who seem more likely to sign (I remain unconvinced by the scouting option). There were a few nice surprises and some misses.
You're doing finesse curlers with Rice. And my crossing Jarvis/heading Castledine was weird?! He nearly made it too. My current Rice has developed to 72OVR already (season 3), I think that's the highest he ever got in my longest career to date.
It's the opposition that's made me go for the finesse - I found over the seasons that straight thunderbolts tend to go at the keeper (remember central shooting?!). It's worked well up until now. I made him my first Man U signing - generally I don't like raiding former clubs but knew he was going to be available. He's now 75 overall and a 'workhorse'. It's not gone well though. He seems too slow for the PL, off the pace with his chasing and harrying, and not scored a single goal. Dropping him for Tarantini was inevitable. He got his place back but he stands out as needing to justify his place now.
@@Uncleturfdon't forget the still-very-real mechanic in PES of an individual's team affinity (the linked nodes you used to be able to see on PS2 PES by pressing Circle on the Formation screen). Your Rice will come good. He's a deliberate design by the team behind the late-PS4 era. And yours is 75OVR?! Talk about a random seed effect. I doubt mine will get past 73 now.
@@GregDownsyes, I now look at aspects such as 'lone wolf' when thinking about signings as there are some big drop offs. One massive one is when I make Bruno Fernandes captain (he is described as a Smart Player) it gives the team a 10 point bump in Team spirit. If I made Rice captain, as workhorse the fatigue rate slows.
looking at Rice's stats for wrong foot and curve I suggest that this goal was impossible. Presume he'll be coming with you to Old Trafford?
Rice does the impossible. For his stats he is nothing at all, yet he breaks up play, initiates moves, charges into the box and then there’s the shooting. When I played in Thailand his default doppelgänger was nothing like him so it is Rice, he’s unique. And I have 3 games to decide on my future. Can I make up an 11 point lead in the second half of the season? Am I happy with 2nd in my first season in the top league? Am I a year of regen growth away from European glory? Or will I take the filthy Ineos money and their really over the hill squad?
was that a shot from Rice??
No, @abbeyhil it was a genuine attempt to cross the ball but I thought it would go more back stick - that Haaland appeared in the 88th to snick it in at the near post felt an act of supreme AI style shithousery
Left foot Rice😮 Magnifique
Sweet hit! I guess the classic PES sprint double clamp is called a 'high press' these days.....
