The world observe how USA and NATO combined can not wage war against underpopulated and so called ondeveloped and non organised Russia. So now, with aliance with China which is next target of USA and NATO I think the game is over with threatening with petrodolar and1000+ bases around the world. So yes I think Russians did it. Song? lol jk. I have these traits, but I’m not a narcissist. I try to control it. I feel bad about it. That’s empathy, maybe the only narcissist with empathy. lol only thing that’s worst than being a narcissist is being one that gets all the toxicity but none of the benefit. Ti/Ti$ is a very bad clock, as it stops completely for the uration of disk/printer/tape transfer (in general, it stops when normal IRQ interrupts are disabled) - this is a legacy from older Commodore machines, which did not have a "Time Of the Day" clock in hardware. For C64 the proper way is to use TOD clock on one of the CIA's (unfortunately, they are not connected with TI variable). The "IF" / colon is nothing magical - "THEN" either continues execution of the line (if the condition is met) or jumps to the next one (if condition is not met). Simple and quite logical, when I switched from C64 BASIC to C language, it was the C behaviour which appeared strange to me.

I also find it interesting that it's a string variable that produces numbers.

Check out pages 454-455 in the C64 Programmer's Reference Guide, which shows the VIC-II register map bit by bit. All the colour registers, and some other registers, have unconnected bits. At the bottom of the page it says "all no connects are read as a 1".
