I'm guessing, but as someone who lived in Oxford from November 1999 - October 2004, there's no explanation required, I know these places and my memory fills the gaps, as if it was yesterday. Go to Oxford, absorb it all, but she will steal a bit of your heart.

@@posnerist Sorry Nigel, what I wanted to say is go to Oxford, and you'll see most of what's in the vlog. You must be in the UK somewhere, Oxford is worth the trip, and you'll get wonderful memories like I have. It's 3.30am on a freezing winters night in Palmerston North New Zealand, if I could go back and visit, I would. You'll be wondering whats for diner soon. Take care mate.

Been to Oxford a number of times.. been to a concert at the Sheldonian.but have to say I prefer Cambridge....it's just personal choice. I'm not surprised you feel home sick as your a world away.....keep well.....

As a retired Oxford Academic, now living in New Zealand ( although with frequent return trips ) I enjoy watching the occasional video of Oxford which people upload from time to time, the good, the bad, and the complete waste of time ! Your video has been quite interesting to watch, incorporating a wide range of images around Oxford - quirky if slightly disjointed, but in a good way. Enjoyed seeing my two favorite taverns, The Trout and The Turf - strange to see The Trout so empty. Anyway, well done, good effort :)
Was born in Oxford but we left when I was a teenager. Thank you for showing parts I don’t recognize. I will try to find them on my next visit:)

I lived in Oxford for 4yrs, 2000-2004 while my wife studied there. It grew on me to the point that I feel Oxford stole my heart. I ache to return , but the older I get, it seems less likely . I try to satisfied my desire with clips from TH-cam and such ( thank you), also google map can take me to hints of my memories, but not quite.
