Truly an oddity, Linda Ronstadt singing, and someone recording her on tape while talking to Gram Parsons. At the Palomino in Hollywood, Rare and Unissued

I didnt mean hell ever die I meant his music will never die COUNTRY MUSIC FOR EVER YEE YEE
Come on and let me drive that thing.
He was pickled in country, gospel and blues...just too bad he let the pickling of other sorts shorten his longevity.
Prayers for the chicken ❤
❤
I hear Gram talking in the beginning of the song, I hear Rik Grech’s fiddle, but GP isn’t singing here, he’s listening
No voice ever conveyed more emotion
Very strong voice! Excellent job nailing those low notes in A in the verses!
❤This song NEEDS to come to Spotify ❤
Bring it to SPOTIFY ❤
🎉🎉😂❤😢😊😊 good song for singing along and remembering the love of ty
My friend ady tee m sent me this video. Thinking of you ady. I know how much you love Mr Nesmith and the more you show to me and send to me helps me to understand why. :) I am so grateful that you want to let me in to your world and by extension the world of Mr Nesmith and the Monkees. He really does seem like a good man. Sincerely a Monkees newbie who still needs to watch the tv show X Beautiful song
I thought before I found out that it was an actual Civil War piece ... belongs to then!
The first rock star!!
Hank looked good here. Priceless
Loved that Show!!! I made a Hobo sign with Early on it... made $$$...a lady wanted to by it...yes I'm homeless again😢...this time I'll sell the sign...

This song is haunting both bitter and sweet
Reminds me of my life 🧬
"It is only those who have neither fired a shot nor heard the shrieks and groans of the wounded who cry aloud...Its glory is all moonshine...War is Hell...!" Gen. William T. Sherman.
Hank Williams. And Johnny Cash
Truly a poet and a voice of a generation. 🥹
Dern ryteeeeeeeee, do it for dal3
BEST SINGER EVER.
The song was used by Ken Burns in his film "The Civil War" where he used photos of the war to tell the story from the lead up, till after the war.
What a lovely piece of music!
DONT TOUCH THE TRIM!
RIP david
We love you
Don't touch the trim!
That record is in stereo with new backing well done.
them slinky japanese
Rather direct racial remark by, I believe Mr. Poe, concerning the name "Flying Cloud" for the tune "Uncle Joe". An observation, not a condemnation. As Wade said, communities were different.
Is that Fields Ward on guitar in the photo? I am also pretty sure the fiddler in the photo is not Mr. Higgins.
Final taps for a soldier gone home on violin and guitar. Awesome song!
I miss him
I love how you can hear him trying not to laugh at "spinal meningitis"
I became fascinated with Hank as a kid. My dad was a big fan and was on his way to see him. When he passed away. He's one of the reasons I became a musician, over 33yrs ago. One of my most prized music possessions. Is a live recording of his first performance of Lovesick Blues. On the Opry in 1949.
What he put down was poetry with whiskey or shine. We'll hold our hands up here in Canada, we'll look up in the moonlight, we'll salute every 54 and 55 Chevy we see, and we'll keep hoping Hank writes for us and keeps it between St. Peter's lines in the book. Tip us a cup and write us a line and we'll keep looking for that last bottle of wine. For the ghosts out on grid road 777 near Cudworth, we'll keep playing the songs, that keep them coming back for more. God bless the USA. God bless Canada. Let's go honky tonkin'.
