BOV DELETE on my 700HP TURBO NISMO 370Z (CRAZY FLUTTER)
This is something I wanted to try out for a while. My BOV really only opened on higher load and full boost anyway, but with no BOV you can hear the flutter on shifts too.

Yup, Just 94 octane Canadian gas
@@Trainwreckz34 Sounds a bit aggressive no? Usually 600whp+ is on E85, did it put down exactly 600 on the dyno? Also did you try shell 93? I hear its better than our 94.
@@Matt-lf1ik Easily doable with the right turbo and setup. Shell 93 is good too it has no ethanol though I think the 94 is better overall

That build is sick! How did you darken your silver interior parts? Did you paint them or can it be bought? It irritates me a bit in my 370Z
The nismo already comes with those blacked out thankfully haha. Not a fan of the silver ones either lol

What clutch are you running bro? I'm in need of a new one before I go turbo and some z1 employees are telling me their full face one is good enough but I'm looking to push around 600 whp more or less 450-500 torque. Just looking for recommendations from the boosted people
I can't fully trust the z1 people since they're pretty biased about their own products😂

Awesome! I'm also running almost 600HP with a Stillen SC and SOHO A2A, and we even have the same colour :D I really like your wheel, though. I think I'm gonna replace mine too because the alcantara soaks sweat like crazy, and I need to clean it almost every month to keep it fluffy.
yeah a lot of people don't like alcantara for that reason haha
If u install a bash bar w/ the BOV located outside the engine bay and pointed out into the street, it will whistle/jet noise the street and turn heads. I do that cruising in 2nd gear around a condensed neighborhood, will not work in open areas w/ no homes.

I love the boost, I love the Nismo, and I loved the video... Plus, your 370Z looks sick man! There's only one huge negative IMO - The removal of the absolutely amazing Nismo true dual exhaust & the high-flow H-Pipe! I hate when I see one of the nicest looking exterior features of the 370Z removed and replaced with an oversized & less expensive car like, single exhaust that leaves the indent on the other side where that other exhaust tip should be. The factory Nismo true-dual exhaust is a huge benefit - Especially on a 370Z with forced induction! I'm very surprised you went this route. Your turbos sound great by the way! 👍
Thank you for the kind words brother. You are right about the stock Nismo exhaust being pretty good but it is very heavy and somewhat restrictive compared to the Tomei. The Tomei is titanium and only weighs like 5lbs total and is like a free 50lbs weight savings. I still only recommend the Tomei for boosted cars because it is ear piercing on a NA car. I have a Nismo tow strap to cover up the empty hole and think it looks really good too.

Don't mean to be rude but why are the gauges not aligned properly Not sure if it is adjustable or it depends on the gauges themselves - the right one looks lower than the other two -
Or it might be the angle of the camera
it is lower slightly, but not noticeable at all when sitting in the car. When I had the oem bezel rings on it hid the gap but the sun melted the tape off and I don't wanna glue them incase I switch these gauges out in the future.

Isn’t that forcing air back into your turbo? I thought that’s really bad for your turbo, and was told a good turbo kit will naturally have flutter.

@@dylandaboss2864 all good, and yeah all good turbos nowadays have anti-surge housings anyway. Having some boost pressure escape through the housing is unlikely to do any damage to your turbo. Especially off throttle where there is no load, a lot of drag cars and people running no bov nowadays
@@Trainwreckz34 good to know, I’ve been looking at the VPF turbo kit it’s a bottom/ mid mount. I really haven’t heard anything on it though everyone kind of has the soho one. But your car sounds amazing tho.
@@dylandaboss2864 thanks bro, the VPF kit does look really good. Def a bit more pricey but I bet its a really well made kit. I think Tomei is the best catback on a boosted VQ since the turbo gets rid off the straight pipe sound. It'll still be really loud in boost though with open dump wastegates
