Engines are rare enough but having one in a ford bullnose instead of a GM product must be an additiona rare.
This is a 1985 F700, it's technically a bullnose year, but it's got it's own medium duty truck front clip, so I don't know if counts. The bullnose 150, 250, etc are my favorite ford truck style.
(head gasket explodes)
It's been in there at least 35 years, it's fine.
@@fruitfarmfords8243 I was just goofing about the reputation of those engines losing head gaskets, glad yours has worked well for you.
The real question is, how many fingers does this guy have on his right hand???!!?
4 fingers, one thumb, I'm a big boy but the redhead nephillim gene is recessive in me, only one row of teeth too.
Worst style of rake going. Wait until you get into some hay that won't go under those arms. Giant Tumbleweed you can't get any tractor over to tey and bale it.
Thank you for your constructive input.
I see the Ford tractor!!
Raking hay, preparing to bale it..i remember those days...hard work..but had fun 😊😊
Good job. Not easy keeping the old stuff working
You don't need to clutch when shifting low to high on the axle, just pull the knob up and let off the accelerator for a second.
Can't believe the glue sniffers around here arguing there wasnt a super duty engine back then 🤦
Just acquired one of these in a c70 single axle.
Nice. 😊
Thank you!
Got one 1994 F700 on road running every day. Two for parts. 5.9L Ppump great set up.
Good trucks, not a speed demon at max capacity, but they are reliable and decent on fuel.
This is a 98 F800 btw
I thought the fuel pincher motors were in GM products
I don't think Ford was making any big diesels at the time and it was these the 429 or I think, a 360 for the medium duty trucks. I've seen 3208s in the cab over trucks of that time. Later Ford had the straight 6 Brazilian turbo diesel. There are L8000 and L9000 Fords with 8v71s and possibly bigger detroits.
They needed a real motor! Hahahaha
@@stellingbanjodude That would have been cat or cummins
F-800 came later with the 5.9 6bt Cummins . I have a '98 with Cummins
GM was the sole owner of Detroit at the time, and Detroit sold engines to anybody that had money.
Must be one of the few remaining
It's been in the family since the early 90s. I'm sure there are a few still out in the wild, but I don't see many around here.
Qwantwz hp??
Maybe 175, it's had it fuel pump turned up a tad. You run these wide open in whatever gear seems right.

Are you looking for another Ford 6000 Commander located in Minnesota? About the same condition, needs a new home as I am cleaning up my parents property.
I don't even own this one, went with a buddy who was looking at it, he didn't end up buying it. If money was no object, I'd buy em all, but as cool as the commanders are, I can't justify having one. Thank you for the offer! Hey, unless it's free, then I might visit Minnesota!! Lol
The ford 4610 1993 model great tractor because it's engine block of New Holland.
I don't have any that new.
Did you heat it in the oven?
No, buddy that painted it put a lot of hardener in the paint when he mixed it.
Great work
Thank you!
@@fruitfarmfords8243 ❤️
Very nice it reminds me of my ford 3910
Thats was what replaced this, they only made the 3610 two years, then went to the 3910, which got a bit more HP and a heavier rear axle with wet brakes. I also have a 3910, but it is a narrow orchard.
@@fruitfarmfords8243 o cool I didn’t know that thank you.!!
I am a snake lover I literally have a boa constrictor in the bed with me right now
Since I was a little kid, I've liked reptiles, and since we only have one dangerous snake, that is quite rare, i caught every snake I could. Never got into any exotic ones though. I'd keep a wild one a few weeks, feed it toads and frogs, turn it loose. This guy is hunting mice and voles I'd bet.
No problem, just place wood under the fork, then lift the front so you can put wood under the tires. That wasn't smart, but with a clever solution, it wasn't a problem.
I just tugged it out with the 4610. It's not that it's difficult, it's that it's unnecessary.. when you've spent your day fixing dumb little mistakes like this in 87 degrees and high humidity, stuff like this, that no one tells you about, really makes you want to lose it.
Blue beauty❤
Thank you! I've been working on the 3610 some lately, will have an update video coming fairly soon.

Aweee man that is cool as heck
That is a weird BN, it’s got yellow paint like an industrial and the seat is mounted backwards on the gas tank? What kind of tractor do you have sir
It's just a regular BN but someone converted into a forklift, poorly, and painted it this hideous yellow.
@@fruitfarmfords8243 I know I have a Farmall Super A that has original yellow underneath the 50 year old hand painted red even though it is not a Super AI, and a lot of times you see that with these wher they were yellow originally for being industrial
More cowbell.
that is so cool, I could watch it all day. great video
I'm glad you like it! We are 6 days into harvest, I'm growing weary of it myself. Fun fact, both halves of the harvester are powered by 4cyl JCB turbo diesels. The little forklifts have Kubota engines.
Why god trying to triple stack a hurricane for like its kfc or something
It was quite a sight
Nice driving
Yes sir one love ❤️
Wow.. now that's a wall cloud. Hope you and the farm fare well through the storm man..
Other than 2 in of rain, storm did no damage to us.
Looks more like a shelf cloud
Never let em know your next move
Looks like no safety at all
We live in a world built by men that risked it all working with their backs and hands, me sitting in my cushy seat, climate controlled truck was pretty darn safe.
I ain't mad at ya
All those signs on the dashboard telling you this is a bad idea in General.
You mean the check engine light? I checked, it's still there. Tpms? Tire man broke the band on one wheel. I don't need a gadget to tell me I have a flat tire. What do you think the backup sensors were saying while they were pressed against rear of that brick nose F350? Lol
That is a cool setup.
It really is, thanks for watching!
Well, I'm getting up for work, yet farmers are the backbone of America, ty farmers
Donde consigues refacciones necesito las salpicaderas
I'm not sure where you live, but parts both new and old are widely available. I can go to a new holland dealer and they can supply most anything. Ebay and even Amazon have some things. There are a few local guys nearby that part them out and they are a good source as well. Just look on line and ask any farmers in your area where they would look. Good luck to you!
The ll series is powerful than that of l series.
Normally I think 1 and 2 are both 3cyl 62hp, but this is an orchard special with a 72-75hp 4cyl engine.

I'm waiting for your Ford 3610.
Me too! It's still sitting in my shop, needing to be assembled.. I've been slacking.
@@fruitfarmfords8243Its okay Sir!
How wide is the disc? I’m thinking about getting a 12ft for my 4610
@landrace2010 It's a 10 foot. However, disc size is greatly dependent on your land. My ground is sandy loam, and fairly flat. Also, the 4610 in the video has its 14.9-28 tires loaded with beet juice as well as one 70ish lb wheel weight per side, 3 of the smaller suitcase weights up front. As well as I run spacers on the disc lift cylinder and let the tires carry some of the weight, rather than lift the wheels and sink the disc. I pulled a massey ferguson 520 10ft disc with my little 3610 with no weights and unloaded tires, but any spots with a slight rise and I would have wheel spin and have to lift the disc some. I'd say look for an 8 footer to be safe and then you have some cushion for different soils and terrain.
@landrace2010 In my soil, the 4610/4600/4000 will pull a 12 foot, loaded appropriately. My dad has a 14ft that we have used behind his 4000 that has loaded 16.9-24 and two weights per side, but it mostly gets pulled by his 5030 and it's 16.9-30s that are loaded.
That enclosed cab is gonna be real handy when one of those many hydraulic lines springs a leak lol. Good looking machine.
Very nice 👌
Thank you!
