I'm really impressed with how Atriox managed to surprise attack them like that. Spartan 2s have enchanced eye sight that even gives them a little bit of night vision. On top of that they had flashlights that were quite bright. Plus Atriox is a big dude, since he is a brute. So for him to be able ot surprise attack them like that without getting spot before hand by these three Spartan 2s is incredible.

It took me years to finally play this game after the original LIS. I love this game, more so than the original with Max and it made me incredibly sad for Chloe. Rachel Amber looks exactly like my ex from high school too and apart from this play, they could have been the same person. They even both had Amber as a part of their names. This game will always be a part of me now.

The designers planned this fight carefully and brilliantly. The Spartan team just see a Brute and engage like they would with any other, at close range, dealing damage with close combat weapons and powerful melee strikes. Douglas charges in with the knife after his shotgun is knocked aside. But Atriox's immense strength and ability with the gravity hammer, he effectively crowd controls the Spartans. Douglas getting up like a true Spartan as well just to take that huge hit. And Atriox crushing the helmet and his lines are epic. But now the surpise has worn off and Jerome and Alice have recovered and know who they are dealing with, Atriox is smart enough to know not to engage again straight away, smart enough to know to let his followers engage and try and find out where the Spirit of Fire is

This was the best, most inspired part of "Before the Storm". When Rachel goes off script and begins to improvise, turning 'The Tempest' into a declaration of her friendship to Chloe, I felt like the drama teacher: "It's magical!" And yet, it's bittersweet when you know Rache's fate.

Would have been cool if the developers made the story connect. Like if you were nice to Nathan. In the sequal the game would recognize it ans change the entire plot.

It’s kind of cool that, immediately after taking this bad of a beating, Red Team basically spends a good chunk of the game *trying* to get Atriox to fight them again. Yet Atriox is smart enough to not fight the Spartans on their terms, so he never engages them again in the game. Captures both the tenacity of the Spartans and the intelligence of Atriox.

That break in his collar bone sent a shiver down my spine. 😅

Atriox winning a fight between 3 Spartan-lls in the middle of a unseen pack of brutes is such a cool visual

Every time I play this game, I always cry during this scene. This moment is probably one of the most beautiful in the game, if not the most beautiful. They're promising to leave together, and when knowing what happens to Rachel, it just makes this even sadder. They deserved to escape together.

The Covenant branded the Spartans, in particular 117, as Demons. Though Atriox remark is pretty legitament when you're told who he is. Humanity nearly lost the war against the Covenant, but Atriox thrived despite everything.
