I make bad videos of games that I attend. So far, those games have included: all Montreal Alouettes (CFL) home games since 2018, almost all CF Montreal/Impact (MLS) home games since 2018, Laval Rocket (AHL) games starting from the 2017-18 season, occasional Montreal Canadiens (NHL) games and events (I would love to do more Canadiens games, but those games are expensive!), the 2018 Canadiens/Maple Leafs/Senators rookie tournament, PWHL Montreal games, a few Les Canadiennes de Montreal (CWHL) games from the 2018-19 season, Montreal Alliance basketball (CEBL), the 2018 and 2019 Toronto Blue Jays (MLB) pre-season games played in Montreal, university football and hockey games and the Harlem Globetrotters.
When there weren't any games to go to due to COVID-19, I posted videos showing cards of Montreal teams from various years. I also put TV highlights of games on my channel (which I also do sometimes for very important games).
Future videos will include soccer and football games.

Chris Berman compares the New York Giants' throwback uniforms to the Montreal Canadiens 9/9/24
Looks like I wasn't the only one who thought that the Giants' uniforms looked familiar while the team was playing terribly against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday. The red and blue striped jersey is modeled after the Giants' 1933 uniforms. The pants and socks come from their 1925 uniforms, the inaugural season of the franchise.

Former Alouette William Stanback was stripped of the ball by DB Kabion Ento. The official ruled Stanback down, but Jason Maas challenged the play and the command centre ruled it a fumble with an immediate recovery by the Alouettes with 2 minutes left in the 2nd quarter. @lancecampbell4323 , this is an example of a non-fumble being overturned.

Ah, taisez-vous!
This is The Phoneix not the WItch!
You are correct! In my haste to upload everything, I just assumed that Ian was introducing the next song when he said, "The Witch," when he was actually saying which song he had just sung. I should have known better since I have the album that "Phoenix" is on, but it's been a long time since I've listened to it. Thanks for the correction.
That was a sweet pass and catch. It reminded me of an NFL style TD threading the ball on a small end zone.
Yes, it was. But it was a bit difficult to see the catch from my angle because the defender was in the way.
This feels like deja vu with Maltos replacing Cote for extended period of time just like last year. Maltos has been rock steady this year.
Yes, and he's doing a great job.
After the game Stanback said he had this game marked on his calender so I'm glad he got a TD against his former team that thought he lost a step.
I'm not surprised. I'm sure he would have preferred to stay with the Als, but he say the writing on the wall when they didn't want to re-sign him, so he asked for his release. He definitely is still an impact player. When they were reviewing the play to see if he crossed the goal line, I said to myself that he deserved to have the TD, so don't overrule it.
Looks like Cottoy got away with PI as he shoved Duquoy after 5 yards.
Looks like a good no call to me. Dequoy kind of got in his way as Cottoy was trying to run his route.
Thanks to your video I was able to dissect the play and see outstanding blocks by Hatcher, McInnis and Mackie.
My video says, "You're welcome." Looks to me like Hatcher had the main block. The rest was just a big mush at the line of scrimmage.
❤❤❤
8 months later….. HES BACK with the Als
And then, after his 1st game, he gets injured in practice and gets put on the 6-game injured list 😢
I hate myself for missing this
Well, at least you can watch my mediocre quality videos. Maybe they'll come back on another tour and you can see them live.
I can’t believe I missed this
Would you believe that they've played in Montreal about a dozen times and this is the 1st time I've seen them? So, I've missed them quite often, too.
🦋❤️❤️🦋
Amazing show thanks for sharing
You're welcome. They could have played a few more songs, but at least that meant that I didn't have to keep standing longer.
good aftunu
Your TH-cam name is very appropriate for this video. I have a lot of Sunusi's goals on my channel from games that I went to (videos that I recorded, not from TV), if you want to take a look. Just search for his name on my channel.
Great job! Very impressive!!! 👏
You must be saying that I did a great job of "borrowing" this video because I wasn't at this game. But if you want to see the same player scoring his 2nd AHL goal in a video that I actually made, then you can watch this: th-cam.com/video/GM-aBpv2LSc/w-d-xo.html
You guys must have a full crowd for these games on that one side of the stadium. Also thanks for the highlights as well
The attendance was 3,468. Everyone sits in the lower level on that side. Not a bad crowd for a Canadian university game. It helps that both schools are based in Montreal, so a lot of Carabins fans were there, too. And you're welcome! Thanks for watching. I checked out some of your videos. Have you ever thought about sitting higher up to get a better view of the game? I can't sit that low for football because it's difficult to see things when you're so low.
You get 12 players on the field in this league.
That is correct. The field is a lot bigger, so there's plenty of room for 1 extra player per team.
5-0 and 4-0 last year
Montreal doesn't have a very good soccer team, although they did beat New England 1-0 last season: th-cam.com/video/oDleikvVVG0/w-d-xo.html
Those old uniforms, and the old helmet ( with the team logo on the side) were an awesome sight back in the old CBC days. I remember (in the days before internet where you knew everything coming) when I turned on the tv to see them first as The Concorde with that silly logo….didn’t know what I was seeing but I sure didn’t like. Those 70s Montreal teams vs real Ottawa team was surely a must -see tv time.
I'm watching the 1974 Grey Cup game right now on TH-cam! The old uniforms are great, although I prefer the logo on the sides of the helmet, which is what they changed it to. The Concordes were terrible, but at least they kept football alive in Montreal for a few more years before the team disappeared for 9 years (although they were once again the Alouettes in 1986).
Great ceremony. But the players should have walked down the red carpet after their names were called. Spoiled the effect.
You are correct on both counts. I was surprised that so many players were there because 50 years is a long time ago!
@mikeCohenCSL @montrealsports29 This is one of the player's daughters. #17 Defensive Back -Phillip Price. The City of Montreal and the Montreal Alouettes Alumni have given absolute great recognition, class, and style to my dad, and the teammates who are still living to this day. Nothing short of it. 🏈 And very well organized! The "timing" is right. 50years and still kicking Ass! 🏈👍🏽 Thie reunion was very well organized. And my dad and his fellow friends/teammates had a fantastic time! Sincerely, Natalie 👍🏽🏈 #cfl #tsn #montrealalouettes
@@natalierk5175 Glad to hear that everything was done well and that everyone had a great time. And I'm glad that I recorded the ceremony because it doesn't seem like anyone else did. Did you go to Montreal with your father for the reunion?
Did most fans stick around to the end as CFL games always come down to the last play this year.
Yes, I didn't really see anyone leaving until the game was over (although I was concentrating more on what was happening on the field than in the stands).
Saw replay on TV the way Speiker dragged his toe in bounds was nice.
I haven't checked out the telecast yet, but it was definitely a nice catch! They should try to figure out a way to have full end zones at Molson Stadium.
Not sure how Tyler Snead will get back into the lineup the way Spieker has played this year.
The Als are stacked at receiver. They had to put Reggie White Jr. on the practice roster after Mack came back.
Bede stinks. They should bring in Ty Long.
He has cost them a few games this season, including this one!
Retro uniforms looked really sharp on TV.
They looked great in person, too! But I prefer the logo on the sides of the helmet instead in the front, which is what they changed it to the following season (or the season after that). I'll soon be posting some pregame photos, so take a look.
I don't understand why they didn't kick a FG to get within one. Then they could have tried on side kick and if not successful they still had one timeout left and maybe would have had 40 seconds left.
If Bede would have made his previous FG attempt, that would have been the obvious choice to take the lead. I guess they figured that if they didn't get a TD, they could stop the Als on defense and get the ball back in good field position (which is exactly what happened), but both drives ended without a TD. If the Elks would have kicked a FG here, if I was the coach, I would have kicked it deep instead of trying an onside kick because there was enough time to get the ball back.
Y así es como el pibe se vistió de verde para siempre... fin
He s so mini and SO fast

This is what happens when the CFL gets involved with betting .All games are rigged . The league will never be the same and will soon disappear.
Merci! C’était un moment incroyable!😍
De rien ! C'était une belle soirée pleine de souvenirs des années 80.
I like this new guy Tim Pearce he will replace Lassiter I hope he can be consistent from what we saw he has great offensive abilities
I wonder if Tim Pearce is as good as Tom Pearce. Just kidding, I know you meant to write Tom. Lots of changes with the composition of the team recently, let's see if any of it works out.
I’m a red wings fan. It went from 😅😅😅😅😅 TO 😢😢😢😢😢
Yeah, you could tell based on how the Red Wings didn't celebrate after winning the shootout that they already knew about the result of the Capitals-Flyers game.
@@montrealsports29 yeah. I was furious. U don’t understand
@@RyanDallo I can understand, especially with the pulling of the goalie in a tie game.
@@montrealsports29 it’s so dumb. What are the chances the flyers can’t allow the caps to go to OT. So they have to pull
@@RyanDallo If I remember correctly, the Flyers had already been eliminated when they pulled their goalie but they didn't know that, so that made what happened in that game even worse for Red Wings fans.
I didn't know Steve Stevens cowrote the anthem to Top Gun! I already thought he was a incredible songwriter... He wrote that too!
According to Wikipedia, the song was solely written by Harold Faltermeyer. But Stevens is definitely a great guitarist!
@@montrealsports29 I read that he played guitar on the original version and that he helped Faltermeyer compose it. I could have sworn it was on Wikipedia but maybe it was somewhere else. Maybe I read it wrong too... When you think about it, the melody sounds a lot like his style.
@@magicmike7198 From Wikipedia: "In a 2022 interview with AXS TV, Stevens said Faltermeyer showed him a Betamax copy of the film's workprint and offered him to record the guitar section of the song." So, it sounds like the song had already been written before Stevens knew about it.
I was there, where is the keyboard player?there s obviously keyboard playing
A lot of bands use backing tracks these days. It's a lot cheaper than hiring a keyboard player to go on tour. Modern English did the same thing: th-cam.com/video/JHHhafHxbTI/w-d-xo.html
@@montrealsports29 Thanks, didnt know it was possible without drums in the backing track cause the timing of the band has to be perfect
@@justinjones9194 It does take away any possible spontaneity, but I guess that's just how things are done these days. For me, it's okay, as long as there's no lip synching!
I miss the 80's
