Youâre going to,pay in the neighborhood of 1% taxe rate on property and automobiles. 3% on boats, airplanes, and RVs. State income tax at 6% quickly rising to 8%. Sales tax is a pain at 6% for SC and Charleston ads another 3 to 3.5% for a total of around 9.5%. Restaurants are over 11%. Charleston has a fetish for taxes.

The 4 percent and 6 percent is a misnomer. Itâs seems like non resident owned property is much higher than a 50 percent difference

There is not a lot of public bathrooms on Sullivans besides the restaurants and stores. The parking is free in different spots but people get there early to get parking. Have you ever been to Isle of Palms?
