traversing 15 miles of forest road and finding a campsite for the night
This forest road is located in the Sierras in Central California. It spans for about 15 miles. We started off the Highway 180 just near Sequoia National Park and traversed through the hills until we reached out camp on the Kings River.

Montaña de Oro | One of California's most Scenic Coastlines

In this video I explore around my favorite spot along the California Coast. Montaña de Oro! This place is beautiful. Located on California's Central Coast, Montaña de Oro has miles of bluff trails overlooking the Ocean. The cliffs here are steep and jagged, and the landscape is full of beautiful wild flowers and vegetation. In this video you will experience some of the beautiful views of the cl...
Secret Beach In Big Sur, California | 4K, Relaxing Ocean Sounds
มุมมอง 1143 ปีที่แล้ว
This video was filmed around 8:30AM on a hidden beach in Big Sur, California. Big Sur has some of the most beautiful coastal scenery in the world. I was lucky enough to be here with just a few friends and to spend some time alone here just listening to the relaxing sounds of the waves. In this video there are relaxing sounds of ocean waves, birds, and a few barks since my dog was also there wit...
Kaiser Peak: Hiking in the Sierra National Forest
มุมมอง 7613 ปีที่แล้ว
Kaiser Peak is located within the Sierra National Forest in the Kaiser Wilderness. This is one of my favorite trails to hike in the area. Kaiser Peak is at an elevation on 10,300 feet and is about 11 miles up and back. I started this hike at around 530 am in mid May. The weather was perfect and the trail only had a few sections of snow up towards the peak. My Australian Shepherd (Shaver) joined...
Hiking 16 miles in Yosemite
มุมมอง 2303 ปีที่แล้ว
In this video I do a 16 mile day hike in Yosemite. I started at the Valley floor and headed up the Mist Trail towards Vernal and Nevada Falls. After the falls I continued on along the Panorama trail up to Glacier Point. After spending time at Glacier Point I headed back down to the Valley via the 4 mile Trail. All in all it was around 4,000 ft of elevation gain. Very long day but the views are ...

@@stayreal4l284 yeah the Sierras typically get a good amount of snow. Fire restrictions here are pretty bad too during the summer and fall thats why winter camping is nice.

I tried watching a couple's video of a hike in Yosemite. They were attractive and had a positive, upbeat voice-over. But the video was basically a series of clips alternating between them jogging up Mist Trail as if they ran the entire way. The video was more about them than about the beautiful scenery. Your video, on the other hand, made me feel like I was actually strolling up the trail myself. And the couple of short clips of you hiking at a more realistic pace was just the right amount to seem like an actual hike rather than an ego thing. I've looked down at the canyon from Glacier Point many times and wondered what it must be like to be there and your video gave me a better sense of it than still photos I've seen.
