I honestly can't believe this is a cover! I downloaded it a couple months ago, and after hearing the Sgt Pepper's album, I thought this was the mono mix or something like that... then I heard the mono mix. And it didn't sound like this. Sometime later, I discovered The Beats. Made the conection. They almost sound the fucking same man.

Ive never done acid(only smoke weed) but the lyrics and way the song is sung. There is no way that this song doesnt have a double meaning. Julian's drawing and LSD.

I know its about Julian's friend. But the slow and low sound, with lyrics like "sun in her eyes" "somebody calls you, you answer quite slowly" I cant help but think that John ALSO made it about LSD.
