It's very brave because it's so young. You can tell by the short tail and dull color it's a juvenile.

A chatty little juvenile who doesn't know enough to be wary of humans yet. He's already showing signs of intelligence: he must have seen you take a drink from that can, and suspects that there may be food in there, hence why he tipped the can over. It's probably for the best that you didn't feed him though; too much coddling at a young age can make him dependent on people. He needs to learn to feed himself first; treats can come later.
