What F1 car did u choose? I go to a local simulator shop, they chose Mercedes for my runs, havent considered changing. My lap times and cornering has been getting better every time I visit. (It's my 3rd time) August 25, 2024 Personal best: 1:30.426 2hrs session 68 laps Im very bothered about how you can reach top speed beyond 310kph on the DRS zones. The Mercedes car they chose snails out at 306kph with DRS on 💀 Update: just researched about W11 vs W12 vs W13 vs W14 I was using W13

I dont know how you stay flat out through the last turn. In the ferrari and merc I must upshift and lift to keep from losing the rear end. Using the high downforce sprint setup. I find the silverstone circuit to be in general slippery

Hey I got both of these last night and uninstalled both. It started to help issues but then I looked at task manager and anytime I jumped into the car it was super laggy it brought my CPU usage and Storage up to 50% as soon as they both were gone Iracing was back at its normal like 13-17% on cpu and storage went back to 20-40% did I possibly install something wrong for it to pull that much power?

This is the smoothest run on this track. Excellent quide. This helps tremendously on climbing the mountain flat out. Still haven't been able to pull that off.

You mentioned a lot of things here I didn't even consider, like not engaging the ABS to keep the front tyres stuck better. Taking advantage of the little dips on the inside kerbs to help turn the car.

Thanks - even for people like me, it was helpful in getting down from a 2.10 to a 2.08 just by realising I was braking far too late - turning up the tyre noise also gave me more of an idea of what was going on grip wise. Reckon a 2.07 is possible. Don't know how much of the rest is down to using an ancient Driving Force GT wheel and how much is lack of talent...

Im just starting and im no spring chicken 😅 but have been on an actual track with several of my Porsche 944 TS track cars Just starting iRacing so have a lot to learn But i do what you do and only race on the hour for just a few races Must say l wish iRacing would change the incident calculations so if I'm hit because if someone else mistake i take less a of hit for the points

How? With the fixed setup the best time I can muster is a 2:07:600. I am on the curbs, turning with moment pretty much flat out and this is all I can do. My RF tire always wears out a out 30% more than every other tire. What am I not doing right here?

Nice review but I wish you would have shown us how you change them out on the load cell. (My T-lcm brake pedal broke so I have it held together with tie straps and electrical tape.)

You wanted informative and you nailed it. I am maybe 4months in and C class in road and oval - and I feel like I cheated myself irt learning the craft. Now, I'm struggling in D and C series. Thinking I need to go back to lower classes OR focus more on racing, instead of JUST being safe. Your approach earned a new fan today.

Far to often I am the guy who is wrecked due to drivers who when a guy makes a move that simply can't work. I have been wrecked from P3 today in the Mazda MX cars on the grid. I was killed before the first corner. I was crashed from 2nd by a lapped car that moved over to let me buy and then drove thorugh me. And I was punted from 3rd another time. Today I finished 3rd once, last, 5th. I had the pace to win every one of those races. Iracing is killing me man.
