I had a question from the first few minutes of watching it. Why are you connecting the VCRs via composite video and not component (Y Pr Pb)? As I suppose, you need to get the maximum video quality that Betacam SP can give when digitizing to a computer.

hace 5 años compre dos amaras PTC 150T, con control RMC 180, con HD-Base-T, para trabajar y no existe en el planeta un video o instructivo que enseñe donde poner cada cable.. parece q les doliera la jeta o se les acabara la cinta para grabar un video completo.. nadie da razón o explica bien, ni uniendo tantos videos absurdos que hacen.. solo hacen alarde de tener equipos, pero ninguno que enseñe de verdad el paso a paso de conexión . alguien que sepa o pueda indicarme como usar correctamente los cables?????? paso a paso.?????

WELL !!!! Please may i say..Please clean any video machine and make sure it plays properly with a non important tape before you put in any tape of value...A clogged head and dirty tape path can still mark a tape...Component through line video would have made a much much better copy...Only use composite if you are forced to!.............................

Absolutely terrible method to clean delicate VTR heads. Will most likely be destroyed (striped) this way. Use dedicated cotton swab / high quality cleaning cloth designed for tape heads. It is important to turn the drum indicated by the arrow in one direction only to avoid re contamination. Apply gentle pressure from the tip of your finger together with the cleanest isopropyl or medical grade alcohol you can obtain. Clean gently while observing level of dirt collected on cloth taking care to use a clean section until all dirt (oxide) has been removed. Finally clean all other mechanical parts of tape path to remove further contamination.
