SCAM ALERT: Whoever is buying from this shop, please be ready to face the consequences incase if something goes wrong with the product. We bought a kalchatti few months ago from this shop. We traveled from Chennai (point to be noted). After coming home, to season the product, we put water and kept it aside. Within few minutes the water came out from the side walls of the kalchatti as if it is cracked. When we examined what the issue was, after washing the surface above and inside, we could see that this is a defective piece and was having a patch inside. Immediately called up the shop and spoke to this guy who is in the video, he asked us for the video proof. We sent multiple videos and photos. Then he himself accepted that it was a defective piece and they kept it aside to send it back to the factory but somehow the sales boys in the shop gave you the defective piece. He asked us to send the product and he will replace it. There was lockdown in place and we could not send it immediately. But we kept calling the shop, and this guy informed us that the shop is closed due to lockdown and send the product once the lockdown is lifted. But we kept calling the shop in the interim to ensure that the shop is open or not. Recently, when we called this guy, he stopped responding and some sales girl from the shop started talking. She kept asking for the same details everyday and informed us that she would revert on this. One fine day, after multiple calls don't know what made them defend themselves, they said that we broke the product and sent it to them. Why on earth would someone send a product back that we broke. We kept asking the lady on call to let us talk to this guy in the video, but she said he is not working there anymore. Such a scammers these people are. Every minute they change the words. First they said it's their fault that they gave us the defective piece. Next they said we broke it. Then they said pay full amount only then they will replace. How can someone pay extra for the shop's mistake and mere carelessness. Now we lost our money, lost the product. Such a big cheating scammers. They do not have empathy towards customers. Now these people have blocked our numbers and talking like rowdies ' Ungalala mudinjadha pathukonga and few other words'. Never ever prescribe this cheaters shop to anyone you know. Remember, they are good only till your product is good. If something goes wrong, you will see their true colours. There are many good shops in Chennai and other places to buy these items. Do not believe in them.
