I have PCOS and Diabetes. My dietitian stated to take magnesium too. I take vitamin d for my vitamin d defiency. Im just restarting my weight loss journey now im motivated to getting healthier 💪🏽 😌

My son can’t eat regular popcorn either! He gets sick. He can eat Lesser Evil popcorn though, I think it’s because there’s no dairy!
@HeatherMarieSpirit I'm sorry. 😞 All kids love popcorn. I have since I have become older the husk of the kernels get stuck in my throat. 😫 I really miss eating popcorn at the theater and also for a healthy snack. * I see we have company! Yeah 🎉
😲THIS MIGHT COME AS A SHOCK TO YOU BUT…. It may seem that I spend a lot of time on just my arms! And if I were a gym-girly that may be the case, but for PCOS, dumbbells working out your full body in lieu of gym equipment that isolate muscles is MORE effective for PCOS. ‼️ Slow-weighted workouts that are full-body with an emphasis on our lower half builds muscle, helps with insulin resistance as most of our fat is stored in our thighs, and we gain more muscle that encourages fat burning on days we’re not working out as this activity helps heal our lower BMR. ❤️🩹 Doing them slowly and mindfully with one minute breaks in between helps reduce cortisol and targets the ROOT CAUSES of our PCOS. Save this for later and let me know if you want to see more of these! 👋🏽🏋🏽♀️

CORTISOL FACE ?! Idk why people call it cortisol face, this is moon face and it’s common with PCOS. Magnesium can help reduce water retention and inflammation but it also helps with the things I listed. People never believe me when I talk about the power of filling nutritional gaps like magnesium. I have videos where I weigh the same exact weight and had the same diet and the only difference was that I added magnesium in my food and via a prescription from my doctor. It’s funny because I did tons of research on magnesium before picking the one I wanted and my doctor ended up prescribing me a different one because we all have different needs! I recommend asking your dr or a registered dietitian which works best for you. Just make sure you take it with zinc and vitamin d whatever you end up taking! They pair the best together in my experience. If you want to learn more about my experience using magnesium since day one, check out my PCOS supplements playlist. I share my research there and the one I ended up using (but I don’t recommend you picking what I choose, I recommend you research and consult a medical professional). Unfortunately I can’t pin the playlist here like I can on another app 👀 BUT I do have it in my profile. It has the dosage chart for your age/sex/location/medical needs, everyone truly has different needs! This is day one of using magnesium after taking it the night before as I started my PCOS routine that consists of gluten free, dairy free, & slow weighted workouts. Yes, a healthy calorie deficit as well. However, I again want to stress how much of a difference in my face I saw when I used magnesium on the same diet as before with the same weight. PLUS it helps with headaches, body aches, mood, focus, migraines, cravings, and so much more making my routine actually sustainable for the long term. #moonface #pcos #pcosweightloss #magnesium

Girl I am 4’10” and if I want to lose 2 lbs a week, I NEED to eat under 1200 calories and thats ok. So please the “no one should be” doesnt fit here.
@@prihaps you can lose up to 3lbs a week with PCOS w/out starvation calories, when you target the root causes of your symptoms, inflammation can drastically reduce the number on the scale. Eating too little can raise cortisol levels and work against your PCOS, this also causes a yo-yo effect so you continually repeat the cycle of weight loss because it’s not a long term solution. At 4”10, just over 1500 calories can target at least .05lbs a week depending on your starting weight, and this is before exercise which helps as well. Slow weighted workouts and walking is great for PCOS, and without nourishing our bodies, we don’t have the energy to do simple tasks let alone workout.
@@HeatherMarieSpirit its not starvation calories. The smaller you are, the less calories you need. Its basic math. Plus I eat whole foods which is high in volume and low in calorie. Are you really saying that someone who is 6’4” needs to drop so low at their size to 1200 calories to lose weight? Just think about it for a sec.
@@prihaps PCOS is a metabolic condition, healing the root causes is what helps with PCOS symptoms including weight loss. When calorie intake is too low, the body enters a state of stress, elevating cortisol, which promotes fat storage, particularly in the abdominal area, and increases insulin resistance. This can lead to more weight gain, hormonal imbalances, and worsening of symptoms like irregular periods and high androgens. Adequate calorie intake supports muscle maintenance, which is essential for absorbing glucose and improving insulin sensitivity and helps manage cortisol levels. Many cysters find they don't need to eat below maintenance calories to see changes on the scale at all and find improvement through intuitive eating without calorie calculation as the reduction of inflammation and regulation of this condition helps cysters recognize hunger and fullness signals for the first time. Targeting PCOS symptoms through diet and lifestyle changes can result in weight loss of up to 3 pounds per week due to decreased inflammation and water retention and an increase of muscle (which can increase BMR once symptoms are managed). Consuming fewer than 1,500 calories can cause muscle loss, exacerbate insulin resistance, and drive up cortisol levels, making weight management and symptom relief more challenging and cause repeated cycles of “day one again”.

I’m taking 30mg Zinc from Nature Made, it’s not the absorbed amount so it works for my daily dosage needs. ❤

Do gluten free & dairy free snacks cost more? Yes. Do I eat way less than I used to and spend less money on snacks than I did before? Also yes. More importantly, I can eat these foods without cramping, brain fog, bloating, fatigue, and insatiable cravings. @@Follower_Of_Our_King I have a PCOS Supplement playlist for what I use! My best tip is to do research, ask your doctor for recommendations (they can prescribe some and insurance can cover), try one at a time for 30 days to see if you feel any differences.
There were times either physically or mentally I truly did not think I would make it here. No I don’t like tea it makes me nauseous lol but when I’m done breastfeeding I’m going to try a testosterone relief tea and see if that helps my facial hair.

I feel amazing!! I’m not suffering from most of my symptoms. My periods still suck once in a while they’re pretty bad (like today) but for the most part not so much anymore. Thank you so much ❤❤

I'm 5'4 and 127 lbs. I have PCOS but only the type I have ovarian cysts. They say I can get pregnant but nothing is working. Does anyone have tips or anything. I haven't had my prd in 2 months but that's very normal and I usually go 3 or 4 without a prd. Should I even keep trying cause atp it's if it happens it happens. Cause we want a child but what am I doing wrong?
Is it ok if I ask, has your gynecologist ordered an HSG exam? This exam can help open the fallopian tubes (where sperm need to travel through to get to eggs) and help increase your chance of conceiving, sometimes the tubes are blocked or some women only have 1 tube that opens so it would be worthwhile to do it to perhaps get an insight on your uterus that you may not get on a regular ultrasound :)

And what would u order of u go to McDonald’s , Burger King or Panda Express ? 😁 or dunking donuts
McDonald’s in the US has zero items on the menu that are allergen friendly. Burger King I get the impossible whopper with no bun and fries. Panda Express only has white rice with no gluten or dairy - they used to have items without it but they changed their menu 😫 I eat at Chipotle and pollo tropical now, they have a lot more options other allergen menu.
