Nice Clivo, great Vid and music mate.
Nice video Clive !
Fantastic week by the look of it Clive! Great fish! But wondering how Aussie Post lost my invite? :)
Great video Clive. Some cracking fish caught and some serious drinking by the look of it. That little mac was pissed off! Glad you released him so eloquently. :) The family and I are heading up there second week of January. Hopefully those fires will be out by then.
Nice memories there Clive!
Excellent! How long did it take you to land?
Kenny Bradshaw Think it as about 20-25 min
@@MrSafasalt Nice! It's a heavy weight to bring aboard!;-)
All power to you for posting. We’ve all lost gear here and there.
thats sux man!
I never leave shore without it--saved me from a number of expensive trips to BCF: kayakspecialists.com.au/accessories/rod-leash-2mt-kayak-fishing-detail
I couldn't tell you off hand it was custom made by Rocking Rod Works for me ,I'll find out exactly and then post it on here.
Thanks for sharing... Nice vid. The rod in the first few minutes has a great action... what weight/model?
Mate I built that rod, it's a 8-14lb 7'0 3/8-11/4oz moderate fast action medium light stick. Custom made for small live baits and sp fishing.
Have to laugh every time I watch this, it's bloody funny!
I know that feeling. I lost a Penn Power Stick and a Penn Squidder the same way. I was pissed!
It's a stealth Evo 465,software is power dirctor
Nice video. I love Queenstown. You must go get some pies in Arrowtown. Best I've ever had
Cool video, is that sony video editing? Also what sit ontop is that?
great talking to you clive and love the fish
+1 for victory smoke!
Awesome catch Clive!
Bus of a fish that. Well Done Clive - that fish nearly got the better of that hook, so well played dear sir.
Watch the ball sack!!!!! Them teeth are sharp... Awesome gaffing skills there :) CHOP
Brilliant !!!!!!!!!! Now I want to race out and do it. Thanks for sharing.
Awesome fishing videos! What kind of kayaks are you using? Are the fishing going into the hull?
Nice work................
HOLY CRAP!!!! AWESOME SONG!!!!! One of my all time faves!!! You guys have way too much fun there!!! Oh and the video is okay!!! LOL!!!
Reminds me of My first surf launch & landing. My gopro got a similar dunking. I was ok though. lol. Great footage by the way.
Thanks. Good luck on the next trip. I haven't been out myself in quite a while. Only an estuary comp but not off shore. I'm having withdrawals. lol.
@Dunebuggy2012 20 pound mono and it went a shade under 8kg's
Very nice. What line class? and what did it weigh?
How many holes in a cobia?
Wow MASSIVE fish Gary!
Nice job getting Ben on camera stealing your mactuna! I'll let him know he's famous for pilching. :D Indie.
killed the video with that music!
@waynebw Hi , there is a thread on AKFF in the Main menu under" fish of the month" Ant put up some pics of the rigs i make ,in saying that also take a goiod spinning rod witha real that has at least a 5.8/1 ratio and crank like mad "speed is the key if your retrieve is too slow you will get follows and no hook ups,a good lure at the moment is the raider in pink colour a 25g .send me message when you here and we can catch up and maybe fish together ,
Hello, What dvd editing program are you using?? Love the transitions. Have you uploaded your project file by exporting in HD 1080p format MOVIE CLIP (MPG) - setting (1920x1080). Might view better when enlarged.
@waynebw no its in nsw ,yeahweather been abit lousy lately but a good time to fish is about aweek away!!!
@loosealliance Yip you can get towed around for a few km's,not by mackerel more the longtail tuna /cobia,plenty of space for gear as there is a big hatch in the middle of the kayak, rods, gaf, tackle fish everything fits in side and is perfect when going out through the surf and coming in so you dont loose any gear. My yak is aErics Tunny from South Africa You can get something similar from Sa in Australia now ...................Stealth Kayaks Australia have alook on the web
Looks like fun Clive. Good to see the GoPro getting a hammering. I especially liked the side angle towards the end where you can see the wall of whitewater coming at you and then the dunking. Nice beach landing as well :-)
