They found a lot of IDs and personal affects from people in the towers, they found handguns from PAPD and NYPD that they used the serial numbers from to confirm dead/missing officers, there was a whole safety deposit bank inside with intact untouched boxes with other boxes being burned and scorched. If you learned anything about forensic fire investigations or accident investigation you’d learn that nothing happens as it’s seen 100% fire doesn’t fully consume everything at once a fully collapsed building doesn’t completely destroy everything within. Inches matter in accidents it’s why someone in a car crash might survive but the person next to them doesn’t

Rather, parts of some of the airplanes that crashed into the Twin Towers are on display at the 9/11 Memorial Museum. Stop distorting historical facts and/or promulgating conspiracy theories.

Halifax had a population of at least 250,000 people on 9/11, as compared to about 9,000 for Gander. Without minimizing in any way their efforts on behalf of the stranded passengers, they were much better equipped to handle the influx of people than tiny Gander. But it's so typical of people in the Maritime Provinces to open their hearts and homes to strangers in their times of need. Big thanks to both cities.

I was on a flight from Spokane to Florida on Delta one afternoon, and over Oklahoma the stewardess said, "Please fasten your seat belt, the captain has to make a few maneuvers." Hmmm! I looked out the window and far off the sky was very black. When we got there there was turbulence like I have never been through before; all the while we were watching 'April Rush'. It couldn't have been more perfect! What a neat way to to be told there is going to be some very severe bumping going on in here soon.

Yes because announcing that there has been several hijackings of domestic airliners in the US is the best thing to tell someone on an inbound flight to the US onboard a domestic US carrier
