Hi guys this is a hobby design channel. Our designs are based around a town called Seaham in the north east of England. Seaham is packed full of history and is a great place for entertainment. Seaham is famous for a few reasons, 1. It's sea glass, 2. its manufacturing and 3. Parts of Aliens 3 was filmed here.
Some notes.
I can make thing very slowly, my body is broken.. but I am very fast on a computer.

2025 is going to be another great year, just like the rest of them. This video contains a lot of work, but slow work, methodical. I would love to add all the tags I want too, so I will do it over a few days. I go for as long as I can until the game engine breaks. All the best for 2025.

So, this is a game you're making? Is it a personal project or something you intend to release eventually? I've watched a few videos and while everything is still very early and bizarre, I think you have a very interesting visual style and some unique ideas, kinda reminds me of mid 2000's PC gaming, or at least what it looked like to me when I was a child and didn't have free access to it. In a way it's strangely nostalgic. However, I just have no idea what it's supposed to actually be; It's hard to really parse the things I'm seeing. Do you have some kind of dev blog or something where you write out your thoughts?
Thanks for the comment Kaz, its a hobby for me, I have been learning this since I lost my ability to work. If there was interest in what I do, I would put more effort into my channel, but so far its just been me working things out in the game engine. Also about the game feeling retro, its because of my history with games, I have been playing computer games since 1980's. The game engine I have used I have specifically for its ease of use and its retro feel. Most games today all the look the same. Also this game engine will run on a small potato. I use my TH-cam channel as a bit of a blog and I have a FaceBook page (Seaham Designer).
Also, my home town is full of history going back 1000's of years and has a network of coal mine tunnels as there was 3 mines in Seaham, they are long gone and one of my dreams is to map that system out so I can show others as they are no longer accessible.
More: The sci-fi look is just my own preference, Seaham was also the location of filming for parts of Aliens 3. I love 1980's sci-fi. Typical lad to be honest, cars, guns, robots. And I suppose that's why game engines are great, we can in theory, make whatever we want inside them fact or fiction.
I might start to build a website (hobby) and maybe start building some kind of law, as I have a little bit of a story, but nothing solid.
@seahamdesigner This is all really cool and resolves a lot of my curiosity, I'll be sure to keep watching. Thanks for taking the time to respond.

I don't know why, but i absolutely love the atmosphere of this: early 2000s, slightly uncanny with repeating textures, soundscapes that sound a bit too artificial, low bitrate sounds, dark, gloomy lighting Thank you, TH-cam algorithm, for recommending this to me!
In another video's title, you mentioned this is using UBGE, i found an engine titled UPBGE, is that the one you are using, or are you making your own engine?

Thank you for the comment, Ive been playing games since the early 80's so its based of everthing since then. I could use more modern engines but I love the recovery rate of UPBGE (FPS recovery). The textures are actually taken from my home town, and my home town was a heavy coal mining town since 1900's. I'm still learning regarding texturing and painting textures, my sound skills are much better, but there is no need until I have a good base for a game and I also use whatever free stuff I can find online. Most of my time up untill now, has been learning how to do everything I need to inside UPBGE. Only the past few months have I started creating an decent environment. Again, thank you for the comment and feedback.
