I replaced on my S class W220 with an aluminium one and when I press the brake pedal when the car is on Park it makes a clicky noise because of that part. Does your car after the repair make any noise when you press the brake pedal?

In my 2004 SL55 AMG SHIFTER push start sometimes works or do. It works ? Is that because of the broken part ?

You skipped a critical step! There is a “roller spring” in the way that will not allow removal or replacement of the lever. When the black plate is removed at about 3:14 the roller spring is not there! Then at 3:50 it appears! The roller spring is held in by two screws on the bottom. Nice try Fritz!

Just take the plastic part and leave out. Never have to worry about being stuck again.

Hello. I replace new one on costumer SL 55 AMG in workshop and i have problem the shifter + stick on the steering wheel is working alone via the can bus. I see that via values in the DAS pad. You can help me what do you think for this issu? Thanks

I have no error codes in my cl55. It just fights real hard to come out of park.

thanks your video helped but one problem. WHEN i oppened it up the plastic part was fine and their appeared no damage what so ever. The reason i took it apart in the first place is not because it got stuck in park but because i was afraid it was going to as it was very stifff and hard to take it out of park.. PLEASE REPLY NEED HELP THANK YOU
