Alan Partridge meets Martin Brennan - "Come Out Ye Black and Tans"
I've a friend in County Kildare does them, but you talk to me.
One of Steve Coogan's funniest characters - the Sligo Farmer turned Alan Partridge impersonator Martin Brennan.

Not the Nine O'Clock News - Question Time - Soviet Nuclear Attack

A brilliant Question Time sketch from S01E01 of Not The Nine O'clock News. Rowan Atkinson as Lord Carrington Hugh Thomas as Rudolph Beard, the MP for 'Landsend South' Griff Rhys Jones as Robin Day Mel Smith as Frances Morrell Richard Davies as Clive Jenkins "At a moment like this, I wonder what Nye Bevan would have done. And I'm pretty sure he would have shat in his pants".
That was mighty!
His singing voice sounded brilliant for the first song 🤣🤣
This kind of Coogan quality gets better as it ages
Despite the H, gotta say he is a bit like Alun.
Thats a very healthy looking tortoise. Lovely shell
free Ireland!!!!!
i said WHO da HELL is THAT!
Yes🎉
that was grand double 0 feckin bollocks
What a voice is the bollocks
Double 0 feckin bollocks
Come on Simon
I never "got" Steve Coogan. This is a complete rip off of Sir Les Pattison.
He's a total headbanger. An absolute breath of fresh air 😂😂
I can't believe he sang those songs on the BBC. I'm folded over like deck chair in bits
'Since a week Thursday'
More Martin Brennan please.... the accent & mannerisms the wonky eye & a mighty fine rendition of 'Come out ya black & tans' along with his ability to take over a tv programme/ or any situation is SPOT ON 🎉😂
That is so good..... and the expressions and body language of the presenters and 'Double O Bollocks' was awesome. Very political but great music, and they were not permitted by the state employer (BBC) to show enjoyment or approval of it... It reminds me of other similar countries. Those presenters had to keep neutral to disapproving in their manner, or their employer (the Govt) would have taken 'action' against them.
Brilliant.
😅😅😅😅😅
WOO DA ELL IS DAT
As an Irishman I love this special lunatic pf s Brit, long may he reign 🤣
I think this is the funniest sketch I have ever seen on TV.
Great Les Patterson evolution
Not a bad singing voice - very impressive!!
"because I'm never gonna go there " always gets me
I remember when I watched I was amazed. I watched this and it was so good. Then seen on tv. Not only was it very funny, the songs were amazing I wasn't 100% sure it was actually Steve Coogan because everything about it seemed pure Irish (the comments pointed out) Btw what a beautiful rendition of 'Sweet Sixteen'. Ah Ya Bollocks.😂❤😂
Agreed, very beautiful rendition of sweet sixteen. He's actually got a very nice singing voice, I'd like to hear some more if he could.
The ol irish sing song 😂😂
He needs his own TV series....
“Double 0, feckin bollocks” 🤣😂🤣
Thought Coogan's voice was actually pretty good here! 😂
This is some of the funniest shit I’ve ever seen
Dirty git
The guest on the left makes it so much funnier
Observed by a man who spent his summers on Mayo. As a Sligo man I take great exception to the teeth. Ha ha
AH Feck I did the H again.
"Lovely Irish gesture"
Spot on about the Irish illegal animal trade
Steve Coogan is more Irish than an Irishman Absolute Feckin Brilliant humor! He couldn't let you go without a little song Even if you didn't want one. Man's a genius and a real rebel.
Who da hell is dat 😂😂😂
Who de hell is dat?
made a GIF of this
And I thought nothing could top the Alan Partridge London Gangster sketch.
Absolute comic perfection. This is the work of a genius. And OMG what a fantastic singing voice
ITS LARRY!!

Looks like a cross between Peter Cook and Sir Les Patterson
😂🤣😂🤣😂... Nurse,... oxygen now😂
This is so well done in every way. Amazing!
