Generally speaking, viewed through a very wide lense, I agree with this. But one thing that motivational speech often overlooks is neurodivergency. Those with ADHD, Autism, or both often have a hard time getting started. In those circumstances, it's not healthy to just "push forward." Instead, it's better to address what little things can be dealt with in the moment and get yourself into a state that we'll call "good enough to stand." ADHD and Autism make things more difficult. They do not need to be roadblocks but often feel like they are. Neurodivergent folk just need to stop, take a second to find the detour, then walk around it slowly and carefully. Then you just do it.

The real you is the one that only you and God know. Don’t put on a fake facade just to try to impress others. Do what the Bible teaches. When you focus on that, the ONLY opinion that matters is God’s opinion. When you truly focus on the word, and truly do the word, no one else will matter.
