As a Japanese, I can never understand why this dubbing is so highly regarded. It's not because the voices are similar, it's because they are good. It's acting ability and expressiveness. Because it resembles the voice of the original Japanese voice actor, so what? Because we can only think of such shallow surface aspects, acting outside of Japan will always be at the level of elementary school arts and crafts.

I feel respect for the original, but I prefer the Japanese.😉
