    Great tutorial. Was able to pause and follow along step by step. So thrilled with the results … don’t seem to be able to share a pic but honestly one minor hiccup and a wandering seam in my quilting but overall am thrilled with the results. Thank you! 😊

    I’ve made heaps of bags in that pattern and I never use spray glue on them, I just sew the strips on the batting which quilts at the same time. Sometimes I add a bit more quilting, but not always.

      I don’t, other than topstitching at the end, and haven’t had any issues since it’s so small. I made a larger blanket using 2 yards front and back, and on one that size I think a little bit of quilting once it’s all topstitchced, is helpful in keeping it together, but still not really needed

    Why domu use interfacing and foam

    • @AngieKT327
      @AngieKT327 26 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Using a woven interfacing on cotton fabric before layering on the foam helps with wrinkles. I find that without woven interfacing the fabric wrinkles like crazy in the finished product

    I've read where others flip only once. While not wrong, why 3 times? Curious if there is any advantage.

    • @AngieKT327
      @AngieKT327 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Honestly, I’m not even sure 🙃🤪 I saw several other people making them and they were flipping 3 times so I figured there was a reason even though it seemed unnecessary. I have since started only flipping it once and it works fine that way too

    I noticed there's hundreds of this tutorial on the shorts videos. What i hate about the shorts it never says the measurements or how much fabric you need or train went you use them. Do well done on how you escapists explain reasons why you make them etc. Most are done 10t x 13 or 12 x 12. Suggest to preshrink fabric first. They also make Excellent polishing cloths

    I tried REALLY hard and mine is a dumpster fire. Sewing has always been one of those things I wish I was good at but causes me a lot of frustration. It was a great demonstration but my seams ended up not matching up and then I had puckers in the fabric and then it just kept getting worse. And I ripped the whole thing out three times, I gave it a great effort but my fingers are too sore to try again right now. 😆

      . I’ve been sewing a long time & I still get frustrated sometimes lol, try it without the foam, much easier & you’ll still end up with a very useful pouch

    Hi just found yr channel by chance great vid ty x I generally turn my Bags through the pocket but it has been extra hard on some of them I've seen ppl use a hole in the lining but I've never tried it as I was worried it wud be a bit Messy but the tip of pulling the link g thru the zipper pocket to stitch it then stitching the pocket is a great tip ty Was just curious what you used for ur lining on the bag as it seams quite thick?? Pls

    • @AngieKT327
      @AngieKT327 หลายเดือนก่อน

      For the lining I used waterproof canvas. It’s fairly inexpensive and thick enough that it doesn’t need interfacing. So it saves time and money by not needing to interface the lining pieces
