I’m with you! Not sure if you follow basketball but the same thing happened there as well…a guy from a small town noticed one day his son and his friends weren’t outside playing basketball anymore when they used to do it daily without letup… son explained how when one of the boys went to slam dunk the ball he accidentally shattered the backboard and ripped the goal down. Being the supportive father he was he drove to pickup what he hoped would be the last set but about two months later it happened again! However, this time he was better prepared…being an engineer he took the time to develop a new basketball rim and backboard system that when enough pressure was applied would partially “release” from its original position bending down while still attached to the backboard. He called it the “break away” rim system. He obtained a patent after his son and friends put it through testing without being able to break it as they had previous rims. Here’s the interesting part…around this same time Darryl Dawkins “Chocolate Thunder”, began breaking standard backboard/rim setups all around the league. He wasn’t the only one. The guy I mentioned earlier with the “Break Away” rim system somehow got a meeting with the NBA and even though he had video proof that his product worked…they flatly refused him! However he got the last laugh because after another rising star player began breaking rims the owners noticed the financial hit this was making in their business and demanded the NBA do something ASAP…yes I know you guessed it…they called the guy back in and ordered a few units to test at team practice facilities. Players and owners loved it…so did the inventor and his lawyers…he received 10 times the initial asking price plus percentage of all sales…world wide!

25 dollars on amazon. Not worth the price. Just a couple of pieces of plastic and large spools won't fit. And I don't mean the cones, just large spools. Way over priced.

This makes sense, the way a spool is loaded is the way it should path off, regardless if it is stacked or crossed. Thumbs up.

saludos me podrías ayudar, tengo una melco 4 cabezas 6 hilos igual a la que esta en el vídeo, me saca un error que dice fuera de área y se para y ya no me deja bordar, me fui a configurar que bordara toda el área , empiezo a bordar y se rompe el hilo y me saca ese error , y ya no me deja bordar, lo que hago es esperar como 5 minutos , le doy enter y vuelve a bordar normal hasta que se vuelve a romper el hilo, espero me pueda orientar , de antemano agradezco su fina atención , muchas gracias

Hi John My name is Shea and I am a college student studying engineering. Recently I got a Melco EMC-1 (white head) and EP1. I was very excited because I also got the original windows 98 computer that ran both with EDS III still installed. But here comes the problem, after happily carrying this all the way to my room, hooking everything up and doing a few hours of research into why it wasn't working I found the missing piece. The security parallel port dongle. I am trying to see if the guy I got it from has it but if not I think I will need to go the route of getting the floppy to USB converter.
