Of course, the quality of the Honda motor is higher than the Parsun motor. As well as the quality of Rolex watches is higher than Casio or Orient watches . But their functionality and reliability are not as different as the price :)

There is enough fuel for more less 1 hour at full speed or a day of trolling. If planed a long trip, then connected an external tank. However, can refuel from the canister and it is quite safe during good weather :-)

Fueling at rough sea is difficult and risky. if you spill fuel around you have to wait it to dry before starting the engine, and if a big wave hits then sea water may enter your tank, or you can drop tank cover (although it is tied it can come loose, happened once when i was filling tank on land). Buy the smallest 12lt external tank and fill half of it instead (6lt fuel=3hours at full speed)

If you need a good outboard motor and do not mind brand - can safely take ; -)

Yes Buy a Carby from a 6 and put onto the 5

@@mattwillard8269 I did some research and it seems that the carburetor of the 6hp mercury/tohatsu can be fitted. Dimensions of the intake hole are 0.5mm different. And the two screw for installing on the block are in the same distance of each other. But I didn't tried finally.

Check out the specs. Some 5 and 6 hp engines are the same weight, may as well get the 6.

Yeah, that was a good plan, like, 6-7 years ago. Now, forget it. When you can get a Suzuki 6HP at 52lbs for about $1200 on sale with full sales support, service and warranty, it just makes no sense to get a 2 stroke 4-6HP anymore. 4-strokes have more than proven themselves to be superior in just about every way.

The problem with 2 strokes, is that they are banned in the lakes I use to go for environmental reasons.

Как правило поклевку видно хорошо - трясется все удилище. Но в большинстве случаев, камбала никак себя на крючке не проявляет. Поэтому, даже если не было поклевки, нужно проверять снасти с интервалом в 10-15 минут. Я ставлю колокольчики и светящиеся палочки в ночное время.

Кивки на море не работают из-за очень высокого натяжения лески - течением, ветром и волной сносится груз весом от 100 грамм и больше с грунтозацепами ...

darko buljan you can hear it the Parsun is a 4 stroke but sounds really Like a 2 stroke also id you read Some forums you Will see that Nobody is happy with parsuns here in the netherlands (the water land) No dealer wants to sell them anymore bc they are always broken or don’t run good
