TRAUMA💔 ⚠️WARNING⚠️ It’s difficult missing out on the whole Wicked experience (a law called ‘Obscene Exposure’ says I’m a criminal-a sex offender if I’m not masking-wearing a desexualising disguise. And, being touch-sensitive PLUS dealing with burnout from a lifetime of masking + capitulating to others’ preferences, plus NOT residing in a pornographic body, I’ve been stuck in ‘lockdown’/home detention since long before COVID.) But I’m not writing to complain. I’m writing to say DIDGERIGORA-Dharug: THANK YOU🙏🏼 em and michael and cynthia and ari (and jon chu for casting them.) This peripheral-but-better-than-nothing aperitif of Wicked is, (as em’s dancing vulvas did on tv a couple of years ago), gifting me enough of an experience of vicarious inclusivity* that my defences are softening and some pent up pain/tension/grief/self-pity is being able to safely spill out. I feel noticeably less weighed down. Revisiting this clip is proving to be a salve and a sanctuary with which I can reliably check in and lose myself in a fantasy in which people who look like me (I look human🤪) can safely step into the light (not like in ‘Oz’ where a faux ‘wizard’ declares #humanswhoSTILLlookhuman the people’s ‘enemy’, in spite of the fact that, for thousands upon thousands of years, safely and freely (from top-heavy, top-down, non-consensual exogenous, interference) innocent and uncompromised humans lived, breathed, wandered, loved, cared, socialised, empathised and were SELF-sufficient… without a ‘wizard’ to TEACH them how to be and do so. *Why do we not include ANATOMICAL and/or PHYSIOLOGICAL (poo, piss, fart, burp, vomit, fuck, sweat, laugh, cry..) diversity and equality in conversations about inclusion, integration and social cohesion? I don’t know about anyone else but, before I’m in a relationship with anything or anyone else, I’m in a relationship with MY BODY. 🎼 I WON’T BE changed… for good.🎶 (I might not be able to get out to see the stage show or movie but I can listen to the music🎵 online!) 💚🩷💚

As someone with adhd who was diagnosed at 32… I fucking felt you that whole interview!! And I very much relay my own stories to connect and I knew exactly what was happening. And I think they knew and they got it completely! I loved your interview!

I’m so happy I got to watch that interview. I constantly find myself finding refuge in witches. From Agatha All Along to Wicked to Sabrina the Teenage Witch. I always find myself gravitating towards witches and it’s all so overwhelming when you see two amazing actresses and singers portray such iconic witches in such an amazing way. Thank you for thanking them on my behalf.
