People have different tastes in gaming and I feel like Arkham LCG offers many different kinds of campaigns, that cater to different tastes. I don't like EotE but you do and that is great! Every campaign is not to everyones liking and that just shows the range of the design!

A great question. I would play it as you lose one action at the start of the first investigator phase and can then distribute the resources between all investigators at your location as you wish, but I could not find anything from the FAQ to confirm my assumption how it would work. Now I talk a bit more on my videos, but I still try to keep the playthroughs as compact as possible, without sidetracking from the actual playthrough, but I'm a bit more vocal about my thoughts behind my actions in the game.

The storytelling in Neon Hope feels close to Arkham Horror LCG, but it is still hard to say after playing only the demo scenario. The grid is really similar to Arkham's chaos vag, but without the frustration of pulling the auto fail token multiple times in succession 😅. You can also see what tokens have been revealed, so it gives a bit of guidance, how hard you might want to commit to the next test. The surveillance dial feels a lot like adding doom onto the agenda deck in Arkham, but scales better with the player count in my opinion. I really like that you are not spending that many actions to move actions in Neon Hope, as you can use one action to change your location to any location in play. The Network is an interesting aspect in Neon Hope. I really like the looming threat, that you can try to hack. Hopefully we will see a bit more of what is to come once the kickstarter campaign launches!

Oh ok! This isn't that clear in the rules, so I might suggest a clarification, that it is treated as a skull also. We were thinking that it should count as a skull with my friend, when we played a two player game, but could not find anything in the rules that it did. 😅

That's great! It's funny, my partner was like "of course the epic fail is a skull, as the token is a skull" but I was more on the rules as written line "there isn't anything in the rules, that it counts as a skull" 😅

@@northernlightsoverarkham yeah! 😃 It's in the comprehensive rules that we are working on right now. But we should probably add this to the quickstart rules as well.

Not so sure I’m interested now after seeing this. Just feels like Arkham Horror card game which I didn’t like. That game always seemed like there was always too much going on in the game. Too many things to keep track of. I sold it few months ago.

I decided to keep the exp of the deck at 29 exp and after I had around 10 allies from seeker and guardian, I didn't feel I wanted to grab allies from other factions for this deck. The only thing I would maybe change are the two Laboratory assistants to something else with agility symbols, but as the scenario provided those, it was not needed. Thanks for the question! 😊

Parallel Jenny definitely is more complex to deck build, than original Jenny. I have only built this one deck for her with 39exp, but I may at some point try to build a 0exp deck with her and try her out in a campaign. 😊

@@northernlightsoverarkham Aye, I'm definitely finding that too. Tons of talents ATM in my first draft deck. Am testing her with maxxed out 72 xp ATM, before I refine and tweak the level zero builds, in a midnight masks test run. Trying to find her a partner that really fits well with her for 2 handed solo run.

Yep, those are the two really tough scenarios in this campaign!

Good question. I don't think Shotgun is a very good true solo card and that is why I haven't probably ever used it in true solo. In true solo you hardly need a shotgun anyways as there are not that big enemies, except maybe now in The Feast of Hemlock Vale. 😅

​@@northernlightsoverarkham I'm playing JATA now with the Defenders of Gondor, I must admit, that deck is really weak and problematic for JATA. Even if I survive the Hill Troll and kill it in the next couple of rounds, my threat gets so high and it reaches 50 in about 8-9 turns. That starting threat of 32 quickly goes past 40 in the early rounds while I focus on killing the problematic hill troll that is gobbling up my Gondor ally/blockers, almost forsaking the questing part which makes my threat even higher.

@@augustjologs1 I feel tehat Defenders of Gondor pre-built deck really needs to be tweaked for JATA quest a bit to have a chance of succeeding. It is doable with some luck, but yeah, the threat gets high too fast. Still the deck has loads of potential with tweaks to do well in that scenario.

I loathe tier lists myself if they try to tell me what is best and what is worst, but as I said in the title, this is my personal tier list for the campaigns and other players rank the campaigns differently. My order for the list has been changing through the years, so it was time to update my list out from my head into a tier list. Thanks for the great idea about personal favourite investigators! I might do class based lists and then rank each class favourite against each other in a seperate video, but we will see. 😅
