September and October can be really hot! If you go in the beginning of September you might miss the heat wave. ☺️
What're the accomodation prices at the house ??
It depends on whether you stay per night or per month, they have monthly discounts. It’s also different whether you stay in the dorm, or in a private room… I stayed in the dorm for $350 for the month!

Yes ideally August is a great time! Not sure how things will go with the drought though… it’s the first one we have experienced in years so we have no idea what to predict… Wish I could have given more help on this question!
