When the Democrats stop blocking candidates who want to see legitimate change (Bernie Sanders) and do the thinking for Americans, we've got a shot at this. Bernie tried to assist. Perhaps it will work this time. Insisting on what? This is so highly nuanced. Stop pushing idealogogical views as facts and I'd wager you'll get a lot of voters back. I voted for KH. I also predicted the Trump win, that's because I don't live in a silo.

I only voted Harris because I felt I *had to* because the queer community has basically everything to lose. Not because I believed in her, but because I feared Trump. She backed off fracking, Palestine, and Medicare for All. She courted *REPUBLICANS* , you know, the ones who never met a social program or human right they didn't want eliminated? So I hate to say it, but unless the DNC can offer us tangible improvements, not just an "Opportunity" economy (sorry but most of us don't have 50k to get reimbursed with taxes much less the credit to secure such a loan) but something that tangibly helps us all without exception, all they are offering us is an escape from the boogeyman who wants to take our rights and kill us. Not to help us thrive, not to protect us, just the chance for 4 years of stagnation, which is admittedly preferable to extinction, but it's the difference between voting for someone you believe in, or voting for someone who basically has a gun to your head. In case you didn't get it, the Democrats have a gun to our heads. The threat of their loss being our deaths. Before anyone wants to give any indignant replies, she asked, and I'm answering. If you don't *like* my answer, what's new? No one wants to stand up for us. Kamala said she's "Follow the law" when asked TWICE on NBC if she supported trans rights. If you think our rights don't matter, or us speaking out for ourselves is why she lost, then you are why we have no faith in the Democrats anymore and are the heart of the issue from our perspective. If the Democrats want the support of the people, they need to fundamentally change to serve the people, starting with the working class and other groups that are the most vulnerable and need the most help. Stop trying to become this centrist focus tested thing that only gets donations and votes, but ultimately has the appeal and usefulness of plain cold oatmeal.
