And the fact that disabled folks have to pay money for things like this in the first place to fully participate in society is why so many of us don't.
Movie theaters in the US are required by law to provide this service for free.

I'm not sure if this is too personal or rude to ask but is it a genetic condition that gave you your beautiful deaf children?
SL are symbol languages. Do "Disney" and "Disney Land" have the same symbol information/value? No.

Where I live, the cinemas have multiple showings with captions every day. When you book your tickets, you can choose a session with captions. They also offer audio descriptions and special sessions for people with sensory issues.

That is so cool that they have interpreters on deck, of course they would but never thought about it before. I have been learning to sign because my mom has degenerative hearing loss.

Despite the fact that I am not deaf, I still use subtitles <3 Usually because my (mind?) can’t always keep track of what they’re saying😅 And then idk what they’re saying anymore sometimes-

Do they offer an interpreter or do you have to pay for one?
I love subtitles and I’m hard of hearing. My parent always said “just hear it you have implanted np..” I needing that WHERE IS IT?!
You can ask for closed captioning at any movie theater in the US, and they are required by law to provide it. Sometimes they use a captioner like this, sometimes the movie will be shown “open caption”, with captions appearing on the screen.
