Karela Masala || Kakarakaya Pulusu || Karela Pulusu

Measurements:
Karela / Bitter gourd/ kakarakaya - 1 cup
Tamarind juice - 1/2 cup
Onions - 1/4 cup
Ginger & garlic paste - 1 teaspoon
Mustard seeds - 1/2 teaspoon
Cumin seeds - 1/2 teaspoon
Turmeric - 1 teaspoon
Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
Garam masala - 1 teaspoon
Sugar - 1-2 teaspoons
Coconut powder (optional) - 2 teaspoons
Oil - 3 teaspoons
Water as required
Salt to taste
Tip:
By adding salt, turmeric to karela will remove the bitterness. you can even boil the karela by adding turmeric, salt into it.
