My interesting solution to USACO 2017 Bronze Problem: Lost Cow

Although my solution isn't faster than a simple simulation (both have a time complexity of O(log n)), I find it a little more mathematically elegant and interesting.

(12.22), (14.40), 13.94, 13.78, 13.43 = 13.72 My best competition performance ever by an immense margin. Almost no nerves, just having fun and solving. This PR will be much more difficult to beat than what I am used to, but I'm not worried, I still have a lot of room for improvement. 14.46, (12.60), (17.86), 12.91, 15.05 = 14.14 For the first time ever, I popped off in competition. In both rounds of OH. My main problem in the finals was overconfidence. I failed to plan FB in both of my worst solves because I wasn't locked in. Still, I got some phenomenal results, and it was a blast. I didn't get second place like I had been planning to, but I'll still happily take the bronz...

How do u find such efficient first block solutions?!?!?? Do you have any tips for that and also more efficient second block? I average 9 moves with first block and 17 moves with second block
For FB efficiency training I use Onionhoney's Fixed FB trainer (onionhoney.github.io/roux-trainers/#fb). For SB efficiency, start by learning the correct solutions for pairs (docs.google.com/document/d/1bX50jAOM_veHsVJeLYGvSrH4uW9xrubep1zOSLdE4Vk/edit?usp=sharing), then you can experiment with more blockbuilding. Planning your DR also helps with efficiency, but you might not be ready for that. If you want a critique, join my discord server (discord.com/invite/h9ncDwk) and we can arrange something.

The World Cube Association doesn't round results to the nearest hundredth of a second, it just drops the milliseconds all together. So this was officially a 12.22.

@@ekkoet from what I remember from when I did 2 look it was quite simple. It’s not really important because it becomes obsolete as soon as you learn 1 look, it’s just an interesting idea imo.
